Two days in Spain so far so brilliant! It is soo beautiful and warm it has been so good to escape the cold and rain of London. I went to the beach yesterday Playa Flamenca (Flemish Beach) it was beautiful I paddled in the mediterranean sea. Yeah! I even had to put sunscreen on it was gorgeous weathr not quite suitable for swimming. The Aunt I am staying with celebrated her birthday yeaterday so we went to a really nice restaurant for lunch. Today we went to La Pagan on the Mar menor (small sea) It's really famous in summer for it's mud baths we're people cake it all over their skin let it dry in the sun and then wash it off. Hello all!!!!!! It´s been a while since I have blogged. I have been very busy. I am well, Sara is well and we are having a great time. When I arrived in London I was very tired and the very next day I flew into Dublin and hired a car to see Galway, Sligo and Donegal. I went in to tombs dating back to 4000 BC. Then I went to James´wedding and that was fantastic at Trinity college. Then we flew to Barcelona and spent three days there. Now in Valencia. Will blog later, cya.... read more

Este fin de semana fuimos a Valencia con todo el grupo y fue increíble! Llegamos viernes por la tarde y buscamos para un hostal. Finalmente encontrabamos uno y quiero decir que esa vez fue la primera y la última vez que voy a quedar en un hostal. Fue horrible. El cuarto era muy sucio y el jefe me dio miedo. Pero bueno, porque el resto del fin de semana fue muy divertido. Fuimos a la playa en Viernes por la tarde y despues caminabamos por la ciudad. Despertabamos Sábado y fuimos en un autobus turistica por la mañana. Después fuimos a la playa por muchas horas y me la encataba. Here is one surprising city. I say surprising because you don´t hear much about it but it is in fact a very modern city with a host of attractions. I have a feeling that Valencia has been somewhat snubbed by the country for political reasons, but that's another kettle of fish which I don't want to open. Anyway, there's a riverbed which is now covered and coverted into a 9km stretch of clean and well-planned parkland. Because of that it sits on lower ground to the streets and buildings which gives a feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
