MADRID BARCELONA & IBIZA OCTOBER '10! Help!

We wanted to make the topic type: Adventure! But went with help to be more informative. Couple in our 20's with a thrust for adventure, culture, and a fun vacation away from our anything-but-this careers! Adventured in South Spain, and now looking to enjoy the North central Mediterranean through Madrid, Valencia, Ibiza, & Barcelona. We have 10 days and have booked our flight for early October 2010. We are open-minded to anything fun and different.

We stayed at the Urbany Barcelona Hostel when I was there in June, it has a cheap lively bar, is very clean and modern and there were lots of people about so we met loads. The hostel did cheap tickets to a night club called Razzmatazz which was pretty good, kept going till about 6am Reply to this

Check out Costa Brava, there are lot's of things to enjoy there. There is a very good network of paths for hiking, possibilities for snorkeling, pretty little villages, spectacular scenery and archaeology. And beaches of course, though in October it may not be exactly the time to lie on a beach. We visited from Llafranc and northwards, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Reply to this

Thank you all!

It looks like we are going to do the first full day and night checking out the sights in Madrid and then to a Flaminco show at night.. hopefully stumbling across an authentic one away from the tourist traps.

Then headed to Barcelona the following day - Still not sure if bus or train will be better. Save the time or the money??

Spend a few days in Barcelona/Costa Brava

Head up to the Pyrenees.. Bus??.. for hiking and possibly joing a group for canyoning.

Does anyone know the best way to get to the Pyrenees from barcelona? We also wanted to head over to Toulouse France just for a quick day trip while we were there. Are there buses/training which run from the Pyrenees to Toulouse and back?

Thank you all again for the helpful insight on our adventure through Sapin! 😊 Reply to this
