Brugge is often described by many as the city of beer and chocolate, but there is more, much more to this unique place, there's waffles and frites as well. Oh, and did I mention, some of the most amazing and ornate historical buildings that you will ever see. It is no wonder that Brugge probably has one of the highest densities of tourists per square metre than anywhere else in the world. Having said that, I haven't been to Rome yet, but that report is still to come! The easy 35 klm ride in from Gent turned out to be closer to 40 and fairly tough as we had strong head and cross winds for the entire trip.
