Hello all,

Can someone please help me.
We are a family (3 kids) and will be travelling to Touquin from London.
We are planning to take the train to Paris and then pick up a lease car. However the day we have organised to travel is a Saturday and we are unable to pick up the lease car from the paris City office.
We have to go to either the Charles de gaulle or the Orly. Can someone please tell me which one would be easier to get to and how? Bearing in mind we will be driving in France for the first time and come from Australia and will be heading to Touquin.
Any hep would be appreciated

Cheers Sam

Sam,
Hope this will hep

Getting to any of the two airports will take the same effort. There is lots of public transport to both. Metro, bus etc.

Getting from the airport to Touquin may be the bigger problem if you are not used to driving in Paris specifically or France in general. Orly is 64 km from Touquin and the road leads basically through Paris. CDG is 65km from Touquin and the road will take you along the outskirts of Paris. That is the route that I would take.

Enjoy!

Thankyou that looks like the plan. I want to avoid the traffic as much as I can when driving on the other side of the road for the first time.

Your best bet to reach CDG if you are not burdened with huge suitcases is the RER train. The stations do not have elevators escalators.
