Today we ventured out into Brugge to explore this qaint little town. We just picked a direction and walked, we explored some of the canals, the market square and Kaitlin inspected a lot of clothing shops.. 😊 After that we headed over to the Belguim chocolate factory to see what we wanted to try today.. We picked up about 15 chocolates and they were all yummy. After lunch we decided that we wanted to come back and watch the movie In Bruge. The movie was sort of depressing but it was funny at the same time especially since we were sitting in the city it was about. Once that was finished we decided to head out and just walk the streets randomly and take pictures. (we have attached a few). We started to head back to the hostel when we came across a Belguim Beer temple and decided to pick up a beer each for the road as its legal to walk around with an open beverage here..

In the evening we heard there was going to be a Belgium beer tasting for 10 euros so we signed up quickly to get in on that action. We got to taste 5 beers, 4 of them Trappist beers (made by monks) and hoegarden which is there afternoon refresh beer here. Once that was complete we were given one free beer in the bar so we definitely made use of that.. Lets just say after the tasting, the free beer and then the one we purchased with dinner we were quite drunk by 10:30 and headed to bed lol

Off to Amsterdam tomorrow for 3 nights.. its going to be fun! 😊
