And let me just say, it is PARADISE!!! Yes, it's wonderful here. There are grocery stores, movie theaters, lines on the road, and white, sandy beaches. It really is pretty awesome. I love it. I've been here for a month to the day now and have enjoyed every moment of it. For the most part, the weather has been warm and beautiful. The people are very friendly and helpful and there's a lot to see and do. Oh, and school, almost forgot about that... yeah, school's fine. So... what to mention? Et Oui! On est encore ici. On aime bien cet endroit. On se rend compte qu'il faut rester dans un endroit au moins 10 jours pour s'impreigner de la vie des gens. Nous retournerons à Georgestown pour le 22 février puisque le frère à Yves viens nous rejoindre avec Parise pour leur vacances. Entre les deux nous allons nous déplacer vers Cat Island ou Conceptions Island car nous dépendons de la direction des vents et de leurs forces. It is time for some overseas travel. It is in our blood and nature. We have to go. This time we flew to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island on February 6th. We wanted to see our many friends there. The original plan was to stay in the apartment of our friend, Herb Hucks. He was off the island and offered his apartment for us to use. The apartment is in a building on the waterway West of downtown Freeport, just across the road from the beach. Herb and Ken Farino have been developing the property there for years. We knew that it would be a nice, quiet place to relax. However, once we arrived we were a little stunned. We had not seen this building since we left Freeport in early 2004. Hey! so we made at across the big bad ocean! it was a little rough but not so bad! we were goin pretty good most of the time. sittin around 6-8Kts for most of the trip! we left fort lauderdale at 9pm and came into the marina here at 10:30!! 13 or so hours it took us but nothing bad happend. well not for us at least! one of our buddies had some problems with his sail and had to stop to fix it, so we stayed bad and well i mean its a little more intense then what i just said but when we get back ill tell ya more about it. thats just one of the crazy stories i can tell when i get back! we've got lots! but everything is great. theres some ... read more

After New Years, we said goodbye to our kids, as they headed back home to work and the cold weather. We will miss them, but for sure won’t miss the weather. So far this winter the weather has been very very nice down here. Steven, Dawn, Paul and Ella, all seemed to enjoy things here in “Club Georgetown” and Miss Ella, got right into the beach life. We spent a few days, cleaning and putting our boat stuff back where it usually is. Six people and baby luggage on our boat makes it a little tight so we had moved things around to accommodate everyone. Without any more company coming for awhile we decided to head further south, to Long Island, the Jumentos Cays, and possibly even Cuba. One little glitch was that our refrigeration was ... read more
