Geo: 51.8447, -1.96861Quintessential English Villages The Cotswold area is designated as area of outstanding beauty and is considered to have unique features derived from the local Cotswold stone, the rural landscape, stone-built villages, historical towns, thatched roofs, stately homes and gardens. The area became prosperous from the wool trade during the Middle ages and the area remains affluent. We started early in the morning for our Cotswold driving tour and we took the Bath Rd from Junction 5 from M4. We passed Malborough, Avesbury and stopped at Devizies which is a lovely little village. We parked our car near the market place and we had lunch at the White Bear which was really nice. Our next stop was beautiful Lacock village. The village dates from the 13th century and has many limewashed half-timbered and stone houses which were ... read more

We walked the pier at Eastbourne and then took the bus 12x back to Brighton Pier. We walked the Brighton pier, had chips, ice cream and we took the bus 77 to Devil's Dyke. It is very ... read more

Geo: 54.4052, -1.73662 Richmond Park is an oasis of tranquillity and all things natural with beautiful grassland, incredible woods, hills and views of the valley of the Thames. Richmond lies 15 miles southwest of central London, we caught bus no 65 which stops at Petersham Gate which is up the hill, but if you catch bus 371 from Richmond station it goes to both Petersham Gate and Richmond Gate, We walked past the Pembroke Lodge, a Georgian mansion with garden settings with spectacular views to the viewing point at King Henry's Mound to see London skyline edging down. We then took a walk through the Richmond Park which is vast and we had our picnic here; we passed many cyclists and joggers along the way. We were blessed with good weather and we also walked to the ... read more

Geo: 13.4691, 104.041 Beng Mealea I decided to go with Villa tour which offered a good package for the whole day, I got picked by the Villa tour at 8.30 am for Beng Mealea after delicious breakfast at Angkor pearl hotel. But the Villa tour took us straight to the ruins of Banteay Srei 2 and then Beng mealea, they did not take us to Roluos group and Bakong Temple or Dom Dek Market, included in the itinerary. I wish I had gone with Holystone tours instead, I could have done it on my own but being solo traveller it was too much hassle but if there are two of you, just book a car and you can combine it with Koh Ker so you can do it at your pace. We had to pay additional ... read more
