Geo: 8.4005, 76.9798 Hotel Samudra (KTDC) is close to the Kovalam Beach, Lighthouse Beach and is situated in a great location. I liked the beautiful green gardens and my room facing the sea was lovely, our hotel was really nice and comfortable. Today we had a free day on the beach so we relaxed in the sun and took a long walk on the beach which was a pleasant change from the hectic schedule we had so far; time to recoup. We had Idli, Vada Puri and many lovely Indian dishes for breakfast, the hotel service was fine even though they had some teething problems. Geo: 8.5037, 76.9522 I was very excited about my trip to India and I booked the India tour last moment as I had very little time preparing for the trip. We were lucky to get places as the Tour company does not operate any more which is unfortunate as they were good tour operators. We flew with Emirates from London with a stop over at Abu Dhabi and we arrived at Trivandrum, early afternoon. We all rested for a little while and then we were introduced to the rest of the group who were on our tour. All the people in the group were friendly and we became like a family throughout our Indian tour. Trivandrum Zoological Park After freshening up for little while, we went to Trivadrum Park which had different plants with lots of ... read more
