Temple Passes

One day temple pass is $20 and 3 days temple pass is $40. They will take your picture and the whole process takes 5- 10 mins. I bought my one day pass at 5 am in the morning and I waited 10 mins in queue as there were many people at Angkor Wat for the sunrise.

If you want to see the sunset the evening before then you can buy the 1 day or 3 day pass after 4.30 pm and you will be able to watch the sunset till 6 pm at no extra charge. You can use the same pass next whole day or 3 whole days depending on how long the pass is for. But do look after your pass as they will inspect the pass at all the temples. There is also a poll charge and additional separate charges for far away temples.

Tuk Tuk & Driver Charges to Temples.

You could always take Tuk tuk with the driver to see the temples the only reason I took car with the driver was because I have Asthma. Both the Tuk Tuk driver and car driver wait for you when you visit the temples and sometimes they do guide you to the best temples.

The tuk tuk charge with the driver is about $15 plus $5 for sunrise additional and $5 for far away temples or the outer circuit. The hotels can arrange a good Tuk Tuk driver for you after you arrive in Siem Reap.

The charges for a Guide to the Temple.

The guide charges about $25 plus $5 for sunrise and $5 for far away temple. But I did not taken a Guide as I had done my research and also I enjoy visiting places at my pace. If you do your homework well then a Guide is not necessary.
