After the last few months and years actually, i find myself back in the freezing London winter wondering once more... Why? This time, after 8 months almost unmotivated by my job, i am more than ready to move on once more. I have once again chosen India as my destination. So... I've booked my flight, sorted out my jabs and visa, now all that has to be done is dreaded packing!!! How does one pack for 6months? I will be hiking, beaching, training, yogaing, helping out in a orphange, WOOFING(Maybe) all these things require different wardrobes, all these items heavy :/! I've spent some time over the past few months thinking on the reasons i left for my first trip. Some may say i ran away from it all, escaped cold London, education, man troubles, or ... read more

So... This is going to be a long one folks... Bangkok... Mama and Papa After my first sad tears for a while, i began my 17hour journey back to Bangkok... With the excitement of seeing my mama, papa and of course Alfie (My pink fluffy teddy bear) most of the journey pasted in a sleepy daze. As the door opened and i saw my Dad happiness overwellemed me... Although it had only been 3months, it felt like forever and it was so comforting to cuddle him. During our time in Bangkok Mama, Papa and I did a little site seeing and shopping! We went to see the Kings Palace, such a beautiful building surrounded by spectacular Temples. One of these temples holds The Emerald Buddha when entering this temple i felt so peaceful and complete, as ... read more

Hello everybody!!! Its been a long while since i last wrote. Be completely sweeped up by it all. I know i haven't finished Asia in my blog yet but am so far behind that i thought i'd write a little email to let everyone know what i'm doing right now... I left Thailand on the 25th of May 10 days after my planned departure, i decided because i would now only have 5days in Australia that i would fly straight to Sydney to see Katie and skip Melbourne out. When my plan landed at 6am the weather outside was 2degrees... I'd been on the plane for 12hours and unfortunately been unable to sleep Even though i'd put on trousers and all my warm layers, when i passed though those sliding doors the cold hit me like ... read more

Making my way back to Bangkok from Paradise was hard. My parents were arriving into Bangkok on the Sunday night, the last three days had been stormy, and as Saturday morning came and the strom was still unsettling the sea, i dicied that some higher power was telling me to stay put. (I may have metioned before my beach is only reachable by boat so it was a bumping stromy ride to the next beach with a boat and no promise of a safe arrival.) That Saturday as i sat the for the last time with my new family, i relised that the past two weeks, i had been completely relaxed. As each day went but, i for once wasn't thinking about money, personal issues or family stuff. When ever anyone asked the time, the awncer ... read more

Sit back, relax and imagine sitting on a jetty into the sea surrounded by beautiful amazing friends... Now add a magic mushroom shake! (Some of you may be intrigued and even there, some a little worried about there darling Saskia... all the same, work with me guys.) ... Having never ventured to the wonders of mushrooms before when i heard they were available on my paradise beach i was intrigued... Having spent around five days, surrounding by amazing people who i know will be life time friends, some i may see again and some maybe not but i will hold the memory of us all together for ever... Most of the people i've been spending time with have been a little older then me some in their early and late twenty's, some mid thirty's and even ... read more

I'm thinking of leaving Bangkok tomorrow and making my way to a little Beach! With directions from many travellers, i have dicided to first head to Koh Phang yan. There i am going to try and find a little quite beach to relax, do some yoga and maybe even start each day with a morning jog! During my stay in Bangkok i've spoken to a few people from diffrent walks of life. Both last night and the previous i spent with an Italian man, who stops over here on the way to China where he lives. (He can get a longer visa here.) In a very Italian way he has entertanied me with storys of his life around the world. On Tuesday after leaving Kao San road to come home we dicied to have aone last ... read more

We arrived in Dehli at 5.30am! After another over night train... The ones in North India are defantily worest, no doors or western toilets, its was quite scary think i only got about 2hours sleep. So i arrive at Dehli train station, sleepy and confussed, the last thing i want is the hassel of getting an Auto to the airport... But true to India, about 20men tried to get me in there taxi or auto's for a crazy price. We managed to get one for 250Ruppees, which was good as seen as it was about 20miles away.Freezing cold and still very sleepy we made the journey to the airport. Arriveing at 6am, our flight was at 11.45pm... Sitting for 15hours in the cafe at Dehli airport was an experience i don't want to repeat. If any of ... read more

Pushkar was such a beautiful place, with a huge lake and a busseling surrounding market! On our last day in Pushkar we went to the lake... In the Lonely Planet it warns you of the conning Priests... Not looking to part with 1000Ruppees we steared clear of the 'holy' looking men. I was brought in by a kind man, he blessed me and i had to go though a mantra (a kind of pray) At the end i let out a flower into the lake and he rapped a piece of red string around my wrist, blessing me as he rapped. I found this very peaceful and sat for a while eyes closed soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The sound of women and children batheing, playing and mucking around was soothing... Everyday Indian life takening part ... read more

On our second day in Arga, we rose at 5.30 to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Not relising the popularity of this we were shocked by the que of over a hundred people when we arrived at 6. Inside was not at all what i expected, once though the gate, welcomed by a perfect garden and a kind of red fort. Though a clear gateway the Taj shone in the morning sun. In India i have been overwelled by many experiances, some of love for people or nature, some hassel and croweds. But for the first time in my life i was overwellemed by a building and it grounds, when you forcus on the feeling and emotion behind the stutrue all tourist and annoyinse seem to dissapear and your alone with an overwelleming feeling of ... read more

Hello All, You'll be pleased to know that i made it out of the other side. When first boarding the train find our beds in 3rdClass AC seem daunting, but luckily, all was quite satisfactory... I had booked us the upperbirths so we wern't bothered as much and so we felt safer! When we first inbarked at Varkala we were the only people in our conpartment, we took advantage of this spreading out and playing cards, wishing the others were only booked for the first night. 2 Hours later 5 people arrived one woman and four men, all seem to have brought everything including there kitchen sink with them. I relised later on after tasting the veg birrane i had ordered for lunch that most of there bags ontained diffrent types of snacks and meals rapped ... read more
