It was sad to leave Pai but I had to leave since I absolutely had no gear with me.  Headed back to Chang Mai to crappy SK guest house.  Got there and settled my bill and got the next flight back to Bangkok where I started.  The 3 hour wait at the airport really licked - I almost wish I had a rubix cube. So the plane ride was super sketchy - the plane shut down 3 times, yeah you heard man, it shut down 3 times when they tried to play the safety thing on the TV.  Hell I don't know about flying if they can't even power a few TV's.  I am pretty nervous and this close to freaking out and telling them to let me off the plane.  Finally after the 4th try, ... read more

God damn it, I just erase my entirely entry b/c I did a control A and hit the damn c key and erased everything. Shyte shyte shyte...okay let me try to remember what I just typed for the pass 10 minutes.  Damn it.... So I think I lefted off going back to my guest house....no wait..let me think for a sec...oh yeah...Pai is a pretty awesome place.  You can really lose yourself here completely.  I would of loved to stay for a few days but damn I lefted everything back at SK crappy guest house.  I pretty much have nothign on me except a bob marley man purse but hell i'm having a blast.  The place I'm staying at is swank, for $3 dollar canadian it doesn't get any better. I have grown to have this ... read more

Woke up quite early and decided to hit Central Mall to do some shopping.  Do yourself a favour and pass on this place, it's like a Yohan Center in Richmond.  There are 3 things I have notice about thailand that has stayed constant with me through my travel. 1.  The abundance of lady boys 2.  Dogs are just everywhere laying on the road like land mines, it's pretty hard to tell if they are dead or just laying there from heat exhausting 3.  Cell Phone stores and 7-11's are like starbucks backhome....there is like one i every block it seems. Anyways so the night is pretty chill, I find it hard to plan out the rest of my trip.  I have about 5 days left, not long enough to do anything crazy but also not short enough to ... read more

So we decided to take an extra day to recover from al the partying and travelling from the South - that and this wicked stomach ache I had to deal with the last 2 days. There must of been something on that train because Cathie and Katie (another katie) got these bumps on their hands they had to take antibiotics to get rid of. Another reason to go 1st class to avoid all the peasants and their SARS hens and goats in 3rd class j/k. I am just so glad they gave me their medication for my stomach because I was about to crap out my spleen. So the day started late and I was convinced to go with them to the silver factory where they showed you how they made silver. I should of known ... read more

So it was fun in the south but I was getting tired of the south beach bum life. I think if I stayed there any longer, I would of been a permenant fixture at the Great Bay. It's dangereous when you have hammocks all over within an arm reach length. I checked out of the Primada and went to the Great Bay to say bye to the guys. Phil, Viv, laura and rose asked me to go to chang mai with them, so I agreed. I toke a long ass ferry ride to sari thani, and on the boat decided to change plans and did a run for from the english girls and swapped with a canadian and aussie. I told katie and anna I meet them at chang mai, we all had different transportation, they ... read more

Morning before the fullmoon: So I wake up and decide to go visit the guys at the other bungalow which is about a good 10 minute scooter ride.  They were still sleeping and katie wasn't around to do a mushroom shake with me, apparently she has just gotten to bed at 9AM b/c they did it last night.  So I leave and thought maybe I should get a thai/facial massage, it's bloody hot and I got dick all to do.  I find a place, call house of healing and walk in and the masseuse is picking her nose, like full finger in.  It was pretty nasty so I decided against it and went back to my bike and I probably was still abit traumatized from the nose picking incident b/c I forgot to put my bike ... read more

Last night me and SQL Dan moved out of the Great Bay Resort and made our way to Primada Inn.  This place is so much cleaner then the place we had.  It felt like a zoo in our last bungalow with big gekko's and frogs visitting us throughout the night.  We finally feel at ease not being eaten alive or some bigger creatures coming by and decide to kick some ass.  We must of been a big retard trying to walk from the Great Bay to Primada b/c it was a good 45 minute trek and I had so much gear on my back.  Finally gave up and a taxi bus stopped to pick us up, these buses only run every hour so if you miss it you're abit screwed. Well we got on and the ... read more

It was hard leaving Koh Phi Phi, this place was absolutely beautiful.  Met some friends along the way, like Lay the local tour guide who was just awesome to us.  Toke us in like family and just showed us the rope.  This guy is one hardcore dude - ex military and ex kickboxer, he was standing on the corel like it was a bed of cotton.  I don't remember much of the daytime in Koh Phi Phi since I pretty much got wasted every single night there except on the last day.  My most memoriable moment was trying to make it to the cave, trying to swim through choppy water at 6PM still banged up from 3 days of partying.  Not smart as I was struggling to get back on the raft and barely had enough energy ... read more

So we all managed to wake up at a reasonable hour and booked a 3 hour session with Lay to do some snorkelling. It was an amazing feeling seeing some corel and swimming with the fishes.  It's like you're their big brother and they jsut tag along with you for the ride.  Lay was pretty cool, we befriended him and he toke us cliff diving.  I was still hungover and the choppy water near the cliff made me want to hurl.  Ent and Bazooka Joe (Griff's new nickname in Thailand) climbed up the cliff with Lay and jumped off.  Ent of course wanted to climb higher and ended up buggering up his ear drum. Rest of the day has been recovery from the night before - I have no idea how I managed to snorkel with a hangover.  The experience is overwhelming how awesome it is to ... read more

We stayed at Krabi or a place near it for 2 days.  It was a nice whine down but we ended up heading into town and just got super wasted at this local bar.  We met the DJ and dranked with her, she was pretty cool and probably the funkiest girl i have met so far.  After boozing it pretty hard, we toke it to another level and bought a bottle of brandy, ahh..well make that two bottles.  We didn't know you can buy a bottle and bring it into the club which was a bad idea when we found out we could.  We went from being drunk to being super wasted pretty quick.  So SQL Dan pretty much buys off this one cab driver and gave him 500 baut so he stuck to us like ... read more
