When we were originally planning our trip we’d always wanted Thailand to be our final country. Having loved it here on previous visits and with Bangkok being a premier shopping destination we thought it would be the best place to fly out of once our time was up. Sophie pushed to have as much time as we could here as although we’d spent near on 3 months during previous visits, here we’d only travelled a relatively small part of the country. This is quite a long blog, so it might be an idea to settle in with a nice cup of tea and a biscuit! We started this trip with a 12 hour wait in between our flight arriving into Suvarnabhumi airport and our next departing from Don Muang airport…plenty of time to head into the city and get a Thai meal before hopping in a taxi to Don Muang to wait for our onward flight to the far south of Thailand. I've uploaded 79 pictures, 3 videos...is there really need to write anything about our adventure...well...where should I start! First thing first, the host of the week, the Forra diving Liveaboard. This is a first for Tiffany and Leslie, we spent 3 nights and 4 days on our way between Koh Lipe and Koh Phi Phi, with main stops in Hin Muang/Hin Daeng as well as Koh Ha. This is also my 11th liveaboard....by far the most basic one, by far the best one too! What you will find on the Forra liveaboard....you have a choice of sleeping in a cabin...they provide a total space for 12 people....or sleeping on the sun deck...way more romantic. 07/0212 Visa run to Malaysia We were nearly at the end of our 15 day visa so we had to head over the border to Malaysia to exit Thailand then re-enter to get an extra 15 day stamp on our visa. The country of Burma is closer with their border cross at Ranong but it had hassle written all over it, for example you have to catch a long tail boat across the water from Thailand to the Burma border, which the boat people can charge whatever they like. You need a brand new ‘crisp’ $10 bill within your passport and if this bill is not brand new you have to then pay nearly double the amount in Thai baht. Senaste 24 timmarna har varit lite.. nja, hur ska jag säga... (äsch, låt oss prata klarspråk på bloggen kära vänner, okej? Okej) det har varit bajsorgier så att säga. Olika symptom och lite variationer men jag gick till farbror doktorn och sa att så här kan vi väl inte ha det när vi ska ut på sjöss i flera timmar? Nä, tyckte doktorn och gav mig någon tablett som ska fungera som någon slags propp (eller som Anna skulle säga:buttplug. ) så nu har vi ätit ett gäng sådana till frukost plus lite imodium. Jag föstår att detta inte är vad man kanske vill läsa i en reseblogg så jag fyller på med lite mer reseinfo. Vi sitter nu på Koh Lipe och väntar på en båt som ska ta oss till Lankawi.
