Congratulations to our 2015 Hall of Fame Inductees and the start of our 13th birthday celebrations! The Hall of Fame is TravelBlog’s highest accolade and it is awarded at this time every year.

This year we've added 20 amazing bloggers – talented writers or photographers or both. It is always a difficult task to award just 20 since we have more than 300,000 TravelBlog accounts.

TravelBlog is the world’s friendliest travel community – this site is run by travellers and for travellers. We exist so that you can share your travelling experiences with family, friends and the TravelBlog community. Though we may all have different travelling styles, if you love to travel then Travelblog welcomes you.

Thankyou to everyone who nominated me. It is indeed an honour and I was a little surprised to find myself nominated . We have in our motorhome Suzy with Sion our trusty sheep been on many adventures some in our small island that we call home and others further afield mainly to Europe and the USA. . I am proud to be part of a wonderful community of fellow travellers. Since I joined Travelblog some years ago I have made friends around the world - Sion our sheep has found his bestest friend Woolly Mammoth who also has been inducted into the Hall of Fame today . Some are fellow travellers whom we have never met but we are friends with a shared interest in seeing what this world has to offer. Thankyou Travelblog . Reply to this

Salamat! Thank you all so much for the recognition! I've always loved reading blogs from other awardees and it's so thrilling that I am now one of them. I've always secretly aspired to be one although I'm not confident about my English and writing skills. I am currently traveling here in the US and will be writing more. But most of them I'll write when I'm back in Manila as I have a packed schedule because of my limited time here.

Awesome! Wow thank you all so much - Thrilled to be in such great company. Travelblog has given me so many great reads, great inspirations and the chance to meet some wonderful people (so far, hope to meet many more TBérs) - such a great honor to be in the company of the other awesome new hall of famers!

I hope to be able to write many more blogs for a long time to come - this award has given me such a huge smile and the impetus to start writing again.

Thanks to anyone who nominated us. We are currently traveling in our own country of Australia in our new caravan. Writing the blog gives us a great reason to take the many photos we do (only a small portion find their way to the blog). Another person who keeps us writing is Judy's Mum who is our most avid reader and is often known to call others and read our blogs out over the telephone!
We are so happy to be part of the Travelblog community and look forward to a long association.

Hi guys,

Wow, I'm genuinely rather touched by this. Thanks! Given the caliber of the writing I've enjoyed on this site over the past seven years, I'm not sure it's at all deserved, but I'm absolutely stoked nonetheless.

I've just moved to Brussels to experience being a Eurocrat for 6 months, so hopefully some penetrating insights and profound cultural reflections on the expat experience will be flowing from my keyboard soon (or at least some blurred photos taken after too many dangerously-strong Belgian beers).

Thank you for all your lovely and supportive comments over the years.
