A full day of airports. I left for the airport at 9:30 pm, got there at 10 pm. Cleared customs and everything important in 15 minutes.... and then had to wait three hours for my 1:40 am flight. ;_; Wasn't bad, the person in the middle seat didn't show up so I got to get comfy in my window seat, haha. We were heavily delayed, though. And the pilot had asked everyone who was not in a connecting flight to wait while we got off. I was in the back of the plane, and naturally everyone was being inconsiderate. Three minutes off the plane I heard 'Last boarding call for Toronto'.................... yeah. Renaissance fair was amazing!!!! I got to Megan's house, where we were all meeting, just a tad on the late side (dumb bus system) -- but I was all ready to go with everyone else. We walked around the whole thing, admiring the dragons, wands, 'ye olde' things and much more. I met Lulu, an old friend that changed her e-mail so I didn't get a chance to talk to her. I made some new friends, three in particular. We're already added on Facebook! haha At first I barely thought of buying anything;; but then I bought a shot glass (I regretted the random large cup as soon as I found a pure pewter shotglass with handle. ;_; LOL), and tons of drinks and food (of course, ;p ) and finally a green-based wand for use ... read more

Another day of relaxation. I woke up at 9 a.m.... which wasn't really relaxing, but necessary to get the yummy breakfast my hotel offers. It's an omelet, fruit loops, mini bagel and a small muffin. And Cranberry juice, or apple juice if that's out. Delish~ Spent a little bit figuring out the right route to get from the Guadeloupe to the Chandler area, and then hopped a bus to the Chandler Fashion Center (aka mall). I got there 30 minutes then what I thought I was going to be, so Kirsten got there early to meet me. Grabbed some lunch in the food court, then waited for Megan.... and Sam. Today was super fun! Went to the Phoenix Zoo with Sam and Megan. As soon as we walked in we got bombarded by the 'Stand together and smile' camera people. I totally bought three photos. A big one and two smaller ones for Sam and Megan. We walked around the ENTIRE park. And I took tons of pictures, and videos, and it was so much fun! Saw camel rides -- and then the girls told me about how they have elephants and another animal, maybe camels as well, to ride and take pictures on, at the Renaissance Fair. :B I can't wait to go! After the zoo, we went to the Arizona Mills Mall to watch a movie for Sam to write a report on to get extra credit. It was a film festival movie from ... read more
