After our wedding cruise we were itching to cruise again! We invited our friends Jeff and Vivian to come on our anniversary trip! One year married already? This time we were doing a three day trip to Ensenada! This trip was about relaxing and experiencing a new place! This is a party cruise for sure especially since the day we set sail was St. Patrick's day!! We enjoyed this trip. We paid $35.00 for a tour down to the shops and sight seeing. We drank margaritas!! My first time! And we walked around for a bit. Before getting back on the tour bus we got huge, spicy tacos and shared them all between the 4 of us. On the way down the winding roads our bus hit a car parked on the side of the road ... read more

Geo: 22.88, -109.9Cabo San Lucas is a small holiday resort in Mexico. It is really a cheap place for a holiday especially for people who like beaches and water sports. The marina is a pleasant place to walk around and there are numerous trips offered to go fishing, whale watching or parasailing, which did look good and I would like to try it one day. We did not have an official tour booked so just strolled around, had a beer and strolled back. We heard later that the tours were a bit pathetic so glad we did our own thing. The ship was moored in the bay so we were tendered in. The 7 Seas Navigator was also moored in the bay. It was on a world cruise and left before we did ,sailing all the way ... read more

We sadly have made it to the border crossing to the USA and then on to Canada sadly saying good bye. We have been travelling the Baja for 54 days, saw not one drop of rain, met huge numbers of wonderful people, fell in a septic tank (not us our RV) our friends got stuck in the sand, been through 27 military checks, over thousands of vados and topaz knocking a few screws loose here and there, breaking a few dishes, And getting a very good sub Tan. Mexico is a very wonderful place to Travel nothing dangerous as many think. the condition of their roads are poor and they have no shoulders (just go slower),, the locals are used to them be courteous let them pass, they do in no passing curved double lines especially ... read more

I slept in until 9 which I would regret later, I kind of mused about my upcoming travel and procrastinated and somewhere around 1030 in the morning I got going after topping up with even more food and filtered water. I was probably riding about 8 kilos heavier than I had previous but it didn't turn out to be too much of a big deal, I made some really good distance in short time and was tackling the hills with no problem. Days like this were just fun, compared to the times where you just struggle and strain and moan to yourself about how tough it is there are times where your body is 100% into it. I still had some pains in my left knee that I was taking note of, but my seat was ... read more

Pfff, ... read more

Ahhh, je ... read more

Geo: 30.7437, -118.615Our last day at sea. Our last day to put things in order. Mom has finished most of the packing. As I feared, it looks like we have one suitcase above our Southwest allotment. That will be $75, please. We only paid $98 for our tickets but here goes my savings. Oh well. It will be good to get home. There will be much to catch up on. Mom made a list of things she knows about, other things we will discover when we arrive home. That's tomorrow. Need I mention breakfast. The prunes, ah, the prunes. We check out the pool area and sure enough, there's a sale. Another chance we have to buy stuff? Unbelievable. Mom looks but does not touch. I work on distributing 3 more days of blogs but stop ... read more
