Well i've moved away from everyone apart from good old mum,and her carer (other half). Here to start saving for the start of my adventures that are to never end. I am here by holding myself to the idea, that until either love of the true kind, or the job of a lifetime takes me. I am to travel round this globe enjoying myself, there is to be plenty of fun and happyness but at the same time good work to suport it all. BRING IT ON!!!!!!... read more

With every departure their HAS to be a leaving party surely. That’s the way I look at things anyway and consequently this week, prior to my going away, seems to have been just that, one big party. Things got underway on Wednesday. Having said my goodbye’s earlier in the day to my wonderful colleagues who generosity provided me with the camera that has taken the snaps on this blog, it was my last opportunity to bid au revoir to all my piglets. For those of you unaware of the name Metal Pig (shame on you), it is the weekly rock night I founded over six years ago in Chester and which has taken up every Wednesday night, holidays excluded, ever since. During those years I’ve made formed some good friendships, albeit with people a generation younger ... read more

Last Sunday morning (12th Nov) we caught the train from King's Cross to Guiseley, Leeds up north in Yorkshire. My (3rd) cousin, Lauren lives there with her husband, Ben and their gorgeous golden retriever Archie. I hadn't seen Lauren in nearly 7 years, so it was fantastic to see her again and to finally meet her husband. Cameron met them both for the first time. They have a beautiful terrace house and we really enjoyed our three days with them. Lauren's sister, Gemma (and her boyfriend), her mum and her grandparents also live in the same place so it was just wonderful to catch up with all the extended family again! Yorkshire is absolutely beautiful. The countryside is just amazing. Monday afternoon we took a drive to the Ilkley Moor and saw the Cow and Calf ... read more

Greetings Old Chaps and Lasses! Yes, Meg has sensibly handed control over this most difficult of portions of our trip, the grand bustling metropolis of London, to me, Cameron, your humble blog guide. We flew into London after the debacle that was Amsterdam, needing some loving from the Mother country. Some of our readers may not know, but Meg is actually half English - I know, I know, she tries to hide it but it's time for it to be revealed to the world. We flew into that grand hodge podge airport Heathrow and took a fast train into paddington station. Not yet corageous enough to dare the Tube, we took a cab to Swiss Cottage where my brother Iain and his nice young 'friend' Carly live. Well, technically we sat in the pub for an ... read more

I've decided to create this travel blog for my family and friends, so this is a just a test. I'm currently working in York on visual effects for "The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey" (with Tom Berenger and Joely Richardson), going back home to Luxembourg mid-December for Christmas and New Year's, then off to the other side of the world with Harry Potter (aka Charles Lamb). The whole purpose of this entry was actually just to test this little thingy: I also created this, which is a map of all the countries I've been to... Would be great if I could win that Euromillions jackpot tonight so that I can fill it up! Visited Countries Map Anyway, time to get... read more

So i was back in London, this a summary of the things I've been getting up to. (Aside from looking for work!) Craig arrived in London from NZ on the same day I returned so the funboy 3 were reunited over the first rounds of what was to become our London drink of choice; Strongbro ciders. I was staying back with Beth, Helen and Brad in Shepherds Bush and now planning on setting up my new life in London. My first week was pretty laid back, Randi was stopping over so we met up again and I took the opportunity to check out the London Zoo. It was not bad, some different animals from back home but the enclosures were pretty small. I also caught up with Sasha who was stopping over for a day and ... read more

17th Nov - Day 1 The day started trying to convince Cally that the small space she had crammed into wasn't really suitable for such a fat cat! Pretty unsuccessful and only biscuits could drag her out briefly. The day dragged on as I just wanted to be moving and starting my epic journey. So with some trepidation set off extra early to pick up my luggage and the infamous surfboard. By this time the heavens had opened and continued to be open. Managed to get the surfboard in the car, diagonally and balanced on the passengers seat head rest. Decided to leave a little early, to compensate for the rain and the fact I'd hit the M25 at rush hour. Good decision as the road was heaving and the torrential rain slowed everything down. The ... read more
