Ok, Liverpool was a touch on the dull side. Nothing against the town itself, but it is a bit Disney makeover-ish. We did get to go on a Beatles driving tour and see some really great stuff from the history of that band, which was cool. In addition to seeing their homes we got to see things like Penny Lane, an orphanage where John Lennon use to befriend the young orphaned boys, called Strawberry Fields, and ended the evening with a drink at The Cavern Club, which isn’t really the actual Cavern Club, it’s down the road and across the street.
