At this moment I am in Portugal, but in a few weeks I am going to change my city, during some days to Tenerife. Tenerife is a Spanish island in the Atlantic Ocean. I am going there to spend some time, take some sun and practice some sport: like parapente. It such a lovely sport and in that wonderful island it is even better. The other thing that I am not loosing is to try papas arrugadas. I have already been there but it was a long time ago. I really enjoy my trip there, the weather is so nice, and the water is during every year. The weekend was too relaxing. We left Wednesday night and didn´t get back until Sunday night. (no school on Wednesday for Andalucia Day) The first full day was just hanging out on the beach. The temperature was good, but it was too breezy for frisbee. Luckily Brad brought a football which got a lot of use. The food at the hotel was pretty awesome. One night there was pork roast, fried chicken, and steak. Needless to say we ate very well. That night we went to the discoteca in the basement of our hotel which was pretty funny. 7 of us went down and brought the total capacity up to 11. We stayed for like 2 songs. Still suffering from the harsh reality to returning to the world of work in London winter I really needed some sunshine, and after a bit of a hard slog/flu etc a tonic was required. So my friend Graham and I decided to get away somewhere where we could escape the fast lane but not have to fly too far or spend too much money. And in the end with Fuerterventura we made a very good chocie. We flew in with First Choie Holidays from a dreary Gatwick (just get on as late as possible as there is so little legroom) and it's only a four hour flight. HELLO ALL YOU CHILLY PEOPLE!! I am now in the canary islands off the coast of africa and loving it.. i just go tto my hotel which is like a studio apt and its amazing!! Its all inclusive too and soo cheap ahaha.. so i just got my beer and im headed to the pool..its kinda late in the day so i will beach it up tomorrow morning and start seeing the sights!! It is about 75 degrees here and a bit of a breeze..amazing! i will write more later, i am running out of time on my expensive internet.. Last nights stay in gatwicks yotel was crazy..they are now offically in the space age.. i took pictures..think of 2020 viewed from the 1950s or something.. strange ´cabins´and lights..and a ´galley´of sorts.. haha miss you all!! ... read more

Fuerteventura 12th - 15th January A special girly weekend for me and Katie, to chill out and enjoy some special "girly" time together. We stayed at the Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura Resort, in Corralejo. It was a really lovely hotel the pools were heated so we even squeezed in a couple of relaxing swims!! The weather was perfect, lovely and sunny and warm. We had alittle rain on the 2nd afternoon, but it was still warm, so we went for a walk on the beach, and paddled in the sea. The sand dunes nearby to Corralejo, made the beach area really nice with pale blue sea and white sand! It was lovely and quite, so we just chilled, chatted, gossiped and chilled some more.
