Actually, that water tasted BETTER than Milpitas water. But most times the water is so so.

You and Dad should DEFINITELY look into a Europe trip! Its just so different than back home, especially the food! As I was doing my research for this trip, lookin through book after book, I noticed that Rick Steves does a book for disable
-handicapped folks. It puts specific highlights on accomodations and places that are much more accessible for people with difficultly walking (theres a lot of stairs in Europe, and many hotels are in such old buildings that they dont have elevators. Many times Chris and I have had to lug our packs up several flights just to get to our room).

You know that Gaudi is where we get the word gaudy from. Because of all his detail in his work. Now it means kind of tacky or overdone. I can see the overdone part...he really put everything in his stuff.
5th April 2011

lol, I figured as much (gaudi = gaudy). But I absolutely love his work! When you just see stone cathedral after brick building constantly, its so awesome to see something different. Not that I dont love the cathedral simply for itself.
The man was brilliant and WAY ahead of his time! I was telling Chris that Im not to into modernistic art (I just dont get it, lol), like on canvas or as sculptures, but when you apply it to architecture, I just love looking at it!
