Geo: 51.1297, 1.31114Today was our disembarkation day...always a sad day. Luckily we have a few more days of vacation before heading home.Because of tides and schedule in Dover, we disembark later than normal on the Disney ships. We had breakfast at 8:00 am and then had to wait in the public areas until it was time to disembark. We were off the ship around 10:30 and on the way to the airport. We had arranged our transportation to the airport through Disney Cruise Line so the bus took us to Terminal 4 for British Airway. We arrived there close to 12:30 and tried to switch our 4:30 flight to something earlier but, our tickets prohibited any change. We grabbed lunch and just waited in the airport for our flight to leave. It was delayed and instead of ... read more

Geo: 56.2556, 11.2939 Today was the last full day of the cruise. Of course, Nikki and I both woke up early. We went to breakfast at Top Siders while the girls slept in. We then went and played cards in the Promenade Lounge until it was time for the Origami class to begin. Then the girls joined us in the lounge to play Cruisin for Trivia. WE WON AGAIN!!!!! We all went to lunch at Topsiders and then the girls went off with their friends. Nikki and I decided to do some packing before we went to see Prince of Persia (I had missed the first and last of the movie last night). Part way through the show I went to an Innovations of the Theme Parks presentation and then back to Prince of Persia for ... read more

Geo: 57.5158, 17.5781 Today was an At Sea Day as we headed back to Dover. We had a character breakfast in Parrot Cay bright and early. After breakfast we stopped by the Russian Bazaar that was happening in the shops to see what merchandise they were offering. I knew Disney was going to mark things up but their price increase was OUTRAGEOUS. But, people were gobbling things up. Then Nikki and I went to an Art of Entertaining presentation where we learned to make Chocolate Mousse. Regan and Kelsie napped. After the cooking demonstration, Nikki and I went to up to Deck 9 to relax before our Couples Massage. This was my first ever massage and I have to say it was very nice. The girls went to a dance class and then to the 4th ... read more

Geo: 59.3327, 18.0645When we woke up this morning we were already docked in Stockholm, Sweden. We had a horrible view from our verandah. It was a large building as tall as the ship. Up to this point, we had amazing views from our side of the ship. Turns out that this the view on the other side was just as bad. At least our side faced the old town area (if we could see through the building)We had breakfast in Lumiere's and then joined our Tour. We had chosen a tour of Old Town and then a stop at the Ice Bar. Our bus stopped in Old Town near the Palace and then walked to the town square and through the twisty streets. Once we were back on the bus we went to the hotel where ... read more

Geo: 59.4392, 24.7586The ship docked in Tallinn, Eastonia around 9:00 am this morning and, after eating breakfast at Parrot Cay we went to meet our shore excursion. Today we did a cycling and Old Town tour. We started out on a 30 minute bus ride to Rocco al Mare park for a 2 mile bike ride. We began our ride on a path on the outside of the park that took us about 20 minutes. Then we entered Rocco al Mare. It is what they called an "open air park". I would equate it to Williamburg, This is the Place State Park or Jamestown Settlement. They have created an Eastonian Village of the 18th century. We rode our bikes around to the various buildings for about 2 hours before stopping for pancakes and jam and a ... read more

Geo: 59.939, 30.3158Our second day in St. Petersburg started very early. For some reason our alarm didn't go off so we were glad we also set a wakeup call. We grabbed breakfast in Topsiders before heading to Rockin Bar D for our shore excursion. We were going to tour the palaces in Pushkin and Peterhof. We boarded the bus and headed first to Pushkin. The palace there is the Palace of Katherine the Great. It was a beautiful palace and is in the process of being restored to its full glory. One kilo of gold has been donated to complete the gilding of the outside of the palace. After touring the palace and grounds we did about 15 minutes of shopping before going to our lunch stop. We ate lunch in a restaurant not far from the ... read more

Geo: 59.939, 30.3158Our intention was to sleep in this morning. We weren't scheduled to arrive in St. Petersburg until about 12:00 so there was really no need to be up early. That is exactly why I woke up at 4:10 am, just 3.5 hours after going to sleep.I decided if I was awake I would go do some laundry. There was nobody in the laundry room so I was able to put all three loads in the machine and start them. When I went back to move them to the dryer the card readers were offline and so I called guest services. They said it would take maintenance 5 minutes to reset them. I called guest services 25 minutes later and they said they would contact maintenance again. 20 minutes later they called the laundry room ... read more

Geo: 56.6079, 19.1602We lost an hour last night and we were at sea today so we didn't get up until 9am. We got ready and left the stateroom around 10 so that Sean, our Stateroom Host, could clean the room. Nikki and I had Brunch at Palo at 10:30 and the girls went to get some breakfast. On the way we stopped by Shutters to check out our photos. Brunch was delicious as always. We left STUFFED even though we tried not to eat too much. While we were at Brunch, the girls went to a scrapbooking activity. We checked in with the girls and then decided to go up to the Quite Cove Pool and put names on our photos so that we could remember what they were called. You know, we are getting older ... read more

Geo: 54.1767, 12.084Our ship docked in Warnemunde Germany today. This is a port town at the very north of Germany. In order to get to Berlin we had to take a train for 2.5 hours. We met at 7:15 and walked across the street to the train station where we boarded the train. Once onboard the train we were served water and a box breakfast of a cream cheese sandwich, apple, candy bar, some pudding/Danish dessert and Capri Sun.Upon arrival in Berlin we were escorted from the train to our motorcoach where we began our site seeing experience. Our first stop was the East Side Gallery. It is a 1 mile long stretch of the Berlin Wall that has been painted by 100 different artists. We then walked around the back of the wall to the ... read more

Geo: 55.6763, 12.5681Today we were in Copenhagen Denmark. It is our 18th Wedding Anniversary! We had breakfast at Topsiders before meeting in Studio Sea for our tour. The tour we chose today was a tour called Castles of North Zealand. After boarding our bus we drove through Copenhagen before heading to the first of three castles we were going to visit. Our first castle was Kronborg Castle. This is also called the Hamlet Castle because it is the setting of Shakespeare's play. It was built in 1425 and was a fortress until the late 1970s. This was a beautiful castle and a great way to start the day.The second castle we visited was the summer residence of the current Royal Family. It is the Fredensborg Palace. This is an Italian style structure. We were able to walk almost ... read more
