Today I woke up had some McDonalds for breaky!! They have cappachinos here kinda funny but tastes way better than the shit coffee. It was more like Scottish weather today kinda overcast but the rain held off. I managed to talk the hostel guy into giving me a sweatshirt so that I could fend off a bit of the weather because the Bedford never sent me anything saying we have your jacket. GREAT being in Scotland thats the ONE thing you need is a rain jacket and I had nothing of the sort. Oh well here we go. Well today i had lotsa rest to wake up and make a nice big breaky for myself in the morning. I bought some food to make my breakfast the night before so I was all prepared for the morning. Had a shower but had to wait for 15 mins while the chubby hostel chick took her sweet ass time haha. They have great showers so i enjoyed that, (especially when im only averaging three a week). Got all cleaned up and decided to walk a different way into town today. Took George st which runs parallel to Princess which is the main st. Well I was determined to get a few more things done today because yesterday was a little underachieved in my eyes. Started off by having some breaky and cleaning everything up so Rory would'nt have a bad taste in his mouth the next time someone asked him to surf. Got a picture saying goodbye with his roomie Helen wrote a quick note and i was off. Got to the Art Gallery in town and explored around there for quite some time. I woke up much earlier today fresh from a good nights sleep and was prepared to leave the hostel to go see Joan my buddy Lester's mom. I tried to reach her the night before but i left a message instead. So when I was all packed up I called her and got ahold of her finally. She was a little hard of hearing to say the least. She thought that Les was coming as well so I felt a bit bad to dissapoint her. I got up at normal time today. Only this time i had to worry about packing up all my crap!! I did all my laundry the night before in the sink to dry so i was pretty much ready to go! Packed up all my stuff and Simon had to take me for some more Black pudding at the Shamrock so i would be ready for my journey to the Lake District. I called the hostel at Ambleside and made a reso for the night so i knew i had a place to rest my head. They said it was one of the last spots so I was lucky!!! So off we went for some grease.
