Woke up in time to have a bowl of Corn Flakes from the counter for 85p and had to leave frantically not knowing where this bus station was. Went the wrong way a few times and it said to be there at 1015 and it was already 1012. Ended up finding the station in the middle of nowhere. Bus didnt leave and there was only one other couple waiting for it so I was in good shape. Driver showed up and said anyone for the Ring of Kerry its that bus and walks across the street to get a coffee or something. Didnt even check tickets or nothing I shouldnt have paid for the damn thing. Turned out to be quite the character Irishman bus driver. He told us that the man who bought the Killarney ... read more

I promised Sarah that I would get up and talk to her at 9am. I was abit late but I did stick to the promise cause thats the kinda guy I am! hahaha Booked a hostel in Killarney because thats what Marcus and I came up with as a backup to Galway which was fully crammed. Went for a last meal down the street for some breaky with Marcus. Wanted something healthy and cheap so I got granola fruit and yogurt which was freaking huge. Did the trick as well. Stopped off at the internet cafe downstairs to print out my bus ticket. Charged me like 4 dollars or something crazy. Packed up all my stuff after it had been drying from the first time I got to do a real load of laundry!! Marcus walked ... read more

I was supposed to leave the house around 10! But it never happened I wanted to check out Kilmainham Goal which was a very famous jail in Irish history. Here people of the Irish Revolution were executed which caused Ireland to unite against the British and become their own country. So I took off on the Laus line again to a place called Suirl. Went up the road to find the jail about 10 mins up the hill. Went in and paid my 2 Euro student admission and waited for the tour to start in the museum they had. Really cool old jail. Closed up in 1923. They had to do extensive work to refurbish it all to become what it once was. The first part of the tour we came into a chapel. Watched a ... read more

Today I spent quite a few hours hours more catching up on some bloggin! I was feeling super shitty about eating all this crap food and drinking all the time and not getting any exercise. Quite the change from before when I left. I was down about 20 pounds!! So I had to kickstart something new to feel a bit better about this whole ordeal so I did some pushups and sit ups. I did enough to feel pretty sore the next day and jumped in the shower. Wicked showers. Here they have like an instant hot water heater on all of the showers i've seen in ppl's homes. Remember the switch as well or else it will be a cold one!! My plan today was to find the Guiness Factory!! One thing that sucked is ... read more

Well it was quite the loud night. I did sleep but it was diffenetly in periods of sleeping. I was also hoping that Marcus wasn't choked at me. Woke up around 1030 ha. Kinda late for my first day to be exploring Dublin. Sat around the house for quite awhile on the computer. Did some laundry and cleaned up their place for them. Tonsa dishes so I felt good about that, like I was earning my cred back. Luigi came back just after I finished my shower and was ready to hit the town. He brought home chicken and eggs and asked me if I wanted to join him for some lunch. Of course Im never one to dissapoint anyone, or at least thats what I try to do. Postponed my exploring a little while longer ... read more

Well today Tobias didnt have to work for some reason so took it easy a bit taken from the night before. We went to that same place for breaky but this time I wanted something a bit lighter so I got a Panini. Not bad a tad bit dry but the tea helped. After that we set off for a tour of the Botanical Gardens. So nice there smelt amazing. Went inside the big glass hut they had there and saw some wicked plants. Maybe goofed around a little thats what happens when Tobias and I go out. We both donated money to fix the roof because it was fully messed. Needed a brand new structure even so it was well worth the 1 euro donation for 3 postcards. U might be the lucky winner of ... read more

Today I had to get up early for a full day tour up to the Antrim Coast 150 miles away. Not as early as Thomas who got up at 430 am but still. Got up in the morning with Tobias because he had to leave just as I did anyways on his way to work today. I made sure I had all the necessities for the weather and what not. You never really know with the weather. Got myself a Timmy's coffee can you believe they have it here!! Thomas says its his favorite as well and hopes that his friends will bring some back for him after there travels. Got to the International Hostel where the tour pickup was and checked in before jumping on board. I sat beside this girl who never said a ... read more

Woke up in the morning and Tobias had called in sick!!! I swear I had nothing to do with it but we had more in common than I thought!!! Woke up in the morning and he was hung as hell and we all agreed to get some breaky down the road. Walked there the four of us Thomas Pamela Tobias and I. We stopped by the murals on the way and Tobias is quite the tour guide. Knows his shit really well. The hideout was the bar I mentioned as the landmark to find across the road. He told me some crazy shit about that place. The biggest piece of advice was to just avoid them at all costs and not to go in there at all. I could live with that no problem!! So we ... read more

Well today I woke up around 7 to make it to my bus. I couldn't miss the first step of my trip!! They told me yesterday all I needed was my confirmation number and that I didn't need to print out my tickets because it was closed anyway!! Thank god...anyways walking around town everyone was still major hung because nothing but tourists were out yet and NO shops for something to eat. My first bus ride was gonna be 4 and half hours so I needed to get something in me. I kept walking all around town but couldn't find shit. McDonalds oh glorious McDonalds haha it was the only thing open before 9 and my bus left at 8!! I ended up meeting the ppl from France who stayed with me at the hostel. They ... read more
