Lazy Sunday Much like our Sundays at home, we didn't do much and just hung out at the beach enjoying the pretty waters. A and I both tried in desperation to see a turtle in the coral gardens before we had to leave the following day. The coral gardens is actually known as Bight Reef in Princess Alexandra State Park. Neither of us was successful snorkeling that morning. But Mr B was having the time of his life. He still was giving out "hamburgers" but now I was also getting "apple cheese." I don't know what apple cheese is but it sounded good to him I guess. He is also going to turn into a french fry, which seems to be his diet of late. Early Start Mr B was up and ready to go "water, please" at 7 am. We convinced him to wait a little while longer although I think we hit the beach before 9. Started cloudy but still quite warm. The hotel does have very nice umbrellas and seats to sit around and so we got the ones closest to the water. I think Mr B took 50 million trips back and forth picking up sand then dumping it in the water then doing it all over again. He seems to enjoy it. Uh-Oh A decided to go snorkeling first on the reef. Last Day Today was our last full day, so that means more beach. We got to see a starfish close by the shore. How cool is that?! Both A and I took turns snorkeling. I told B one time there is no way daddy is coming back. He went so far out, out by the SCUBA divers! I didn't go near that far out but still saw some cool fishies. I realize though, still, I am scared if I can see the fish coming for towards me. Ben made friends, he's cool like that. I am, of course, 50 shades darker. B browned up nicely, too. International Buffet Breakfast, or the "International Buffet" as the sign said, was in the new building they were working on when we were here last. It's a nice little set up with a huge outdoor patio. We opted to sit inside though. Mr. B loved the fruit. The pineapple was especially delish. Not so sure what made the buffet "international" though. Banana Donuts! Mr. B loves the beach so we headed back out there after breakfast. A went out snorkeling out on the reef and got some fish and coral shots. B and I made a friend by sharing our toys. A was in charge of putting on B's hat and finally I noticed it was on backwards. Just Like Home We wandered down the street to go look at the shops, unfortunately there were no good shops and nothing opened before 10 anyway, except for Cost U Less. A felt right at home, it was pretty much a Costco wannabe. He even tried to get me to let him buy a rotisserie chicken for lunch. Beach Time We headed to the beach one last time before out scheduled departure pickup, which I might add was 3 hrs before departure time and about 2 hr 45 min too early to get there. Those island airports take 5 min to get through to a holding pen of one room and a walk to the plane. The worst thing about them is the 3 bathroom stalls they have but that is another story.
