I love your pictures and seeing you! You look amazing and it looks like you are having such a wonderful time! Cannot wait to see all of your pictures baby!
Los Nazarenos? Or the Ku Klux Klan? Everyone here thought that picture was of the Klan. Scary. We are all envious of "Enjoying the Beach" What a great looking crew.
So you've been to Italy, Morocco and Portugal. And you're going to Greece. What about Monaco, Luxembourg, Switzerland? You may never pass this way again. Just be careful and have a great time.
Love, Aunt Cheri
You were smart. Your family is VERY thankful you are back in Spain safe and sound. You were so wise to book through a travel agent, and to only eat food from the hotel. Sometimes even that is not enough, but is at least a first line of defense.
I've seen such dancers before, only in an American setting. We'll have to compare notes.
Glad you're safe and sound.
Aunt Cheri
Glad you are having fun! Hey Emily,
Glad to hear about your travels to Morocco... the belly dancers must have been interesting, I can imagine! All the pictures are neat to look at, so rich. Do they speak French in Morocco? (My french teacher would be so disappointed that I've forgotten!).
Thanks again for sharing your journeys with us who are stuck in the States :)
Miss You,
Amy
Toledo I loved Toledo when we visited Spain. Chris will have to show you his sword. The city was so beautiful. I loved how old the buildings were and how narrow the streets were. It felt like you were going back in time. I'm glad to hear that you are having a fun time.
Hey Em I thought it was so cute in the Hanging out picture. I had to look twice because I KNEW you wouldn't be sitting on the ground even if you were hanging out in Barcelona! hehe. I am glad you got to take hot showers!
Life in Seville If there's "Curves" in Spain, what about Bally's or Equinox?
I think I got most of the meaning.
The lentils looks good. So does the tortilla espanola. Get that recipe. Dona Ana may be pleased you asked.
Great photographs. It is such a help to see what you see.
Love,
Aunt Cheri
Happy Valentine's day Em Do they have Valentine's day in spain? Well It is actually the day after here but I wanted to wish you love anyway! Maybe you will find a spainard to practice some vocab with. hehe.
Personal Shopper I watched an episode of Friends where Rachel was a personal shopper at Bloomingdales. What a fun job. I am sure you are a blessing to the women that are working there with you. Hang in there you will get the language. Is there alot of slang there? Have a Great day.
Love you Em!
Repetir Boutique Good for you Em. There's a place for you on College AV, east of the train station. Experienced personnel always welcome. Your language skills will be invaluable.
Aunt Cheri
it's great to see pictures of Katie, I'm sure she's a great person and you're having fun speding time exploring with her, but it would be great if you put in more pictures with YOU in them ;)
grace and peace,

OOPS Hey Emily,
I didn't mean to send that last one without a message! Just wanted to say that the pictures are beautiful! So awesome, what a beautiful country.... glad you had a good day. God knew you needed one! :) Neat how he provides. Take care...
oooooo Yeah, I could have told you about the bus schedules. Did you buy that Lonely Planet yet? The bus schedules should be inside. You see Ryanair's flights are cheapest when you can't get to the airport. That's why it's the cheap flight. If you are going anywhere else and want help with that scheduling let me know, I don't want you to have to experience that again. Oh yes, and there should be later trains and things from Milan to Bergamo, they just stop through. Praise the Lord that it all worked out.
Espero que has encontrado "La Carbonería".
Cathedral in a Mosque? There's a cathedral in a mosque? Mosques have representations of people? Women were allowed inside? What a country!
The synagogue was sure at the opposite end of the scale. What did you think of it?
Aunt Cheri
Emily... Wow.. this looks so amazing... You're, I'm sure, having a lot of fun. How's your spanish coming? What are some of the biggest challenges you've faced while living in Spain...
I miss you a lot, and can't wait to hear about more of your experiences!!
Grace and Peace,
RMK
Emmy; Congratulations on finding an evangelical church. That's better than we did in London.
WHERE was that birthday party. From the ceiling it looks you are in a Quonset hut. Looks like you are making friends. Great.
Aunt Cheri
HOLA!! HEy babe!
Im so glad that you got into a church. It sounds like such an amazing community. I cannot wait to get involved in a spanish christian community! Keep on praising Jesus! Te EXTRANO!

Whats the ratio of guys to girls? Okay I had to laugh at you the lone girl with all those guys. You are gonna make your Dad concerned! The apartment is nice and neat but small, was the washing machine and dryer in the kitchen???? So interesting. So you are going to get to know your roommate (the older lady) really well, sharing a bedroom. Thanks for all the pics! How beautiful and peaceful looking. See how many Carrera's you can find in the phone book... family history has it that Joel's grandfather's family is from Spain...
opps So I was going to write to you in that other letter, but I accidently hit the enter key instead of the tab key! It sounds like you are having a great time. I really like looking at all the pictures of Spain and reading your updates! I hope that you are meeting a lot of cool people and getting to know the spanish language. This past weekend was J-term break. I went to Justin's house and we went snowboarding and it was a lot of fun! I am really really sore though. That just goes to show how much exercise I do :). It's good to be back though at I am ready to start my spring semester! I hope you are having a great time. I love you and am praying for you babe!!
Jessie
Look at you! Sitting there in a Bar with all those guys! Watch yourself Em! You are a pretty little senorita! hehe. I can't believe there is only one closet! we wouldn't have gotten along like that last year huh? Miss you!
I'm a Spanish major spending my spring semester in Seville, Spain. I hope to survive the 6 months while I not only study the language and learn the culture, but travel around Europe. Please check out some of my European tales and I'll try to keep my stories current so you know what I am up to. ... full info
