Starting School, So things come alive about 22:00 and go until dawn. How long is that siesta? And if you run or do homework while everyone else is napping, when do you sleep?
I enjoyed Spanish Literature when I was in college, and yes, I did read it in Spanish. Made an A in the class as I recall.
An interesting group of companions, missy.
Bar Hop So are your parents actuallly paying for you to go "bar-hopping" with a group of guys. Hmmm. Your living arrangement looks interesting--I'm sure there will be quite a few stories to go along with that. When we were in Spain, we also noticed how everything comes alive at night.
hopefully you can laugh later Oh Emily,
THis post just kept getting worse and worse. I am so glad you are safe, and hopefully with a little time between you and the incident, you will be able to laugh. This will be the best travel story ever! Your kid and your kids kids will tell this story over and over.
Glad you are safe, and having fun! We are praying for you :) Love, Amy and Joel
OMG! Emily, the pictures are gorgeous! It can't believe how beautiful it all is! I just love it. I hope that you are having a blast! love you Girlie,
Cynthia
Pisa, Florence et al Emmy: What did your dad say about the shower in the bathroom? Reminds me of a motel in Michigan.
The photo of the "David" looks about the same size as the replica in the gallery at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.

On your way Dear Em;
Just read Matt 10:16+ today (am behind in my readings) but this applies to your trip:
"Look, I am sending you out as sheep among wolves. So be as shrewd as snakes and harmless as doves."
May you be a blessing to your hostess and to those you encounter.
This is a great idea for keeping track of your travels. I was able to open the link at work.
I'll be praying for you.
Love,
Aunt Cheri
Greetings So glad you can have this experience, Emily. Be careful to stay close to your two traveling companions in Italy. Italian men are very pushy and fresh with female tourists, according to an experience that my daughter Mary Beth had in Italy years ago.
May you be conscious of the Lord's protection and guidance as you travel. Enjoy the delightful scenery and good food of Italy.
Cordially,
Paul and Jan Goring
:) You go girl!!! Emily... I'm really excited to hear about all of the new and fun experiences and adventures that you'll be able to encounter on your voyage overseas. Just want you to know that I will be praying for you. I'm SOOO jealous, I wish I could be over there with you!!! Love you lots,
Grace and Peace,
RMK
Bye EM I am praying for your safe journey. Say hi to London for me. I miss you already more than I ever could have thought!
have the time of your life.
I'm a Spanish major spending my spring semester in Seville, Spain. I hope to survive the 6 months while I not only study the language and learn the culture, but travel around Europe. Please check out some of my European tales and I'll try to keep my stories current so you know what I am up to. ... full info
