We got out to the airport extra early, as we had to deliver the van back to Dany Smith.Once we boarded the plane, we started talking to a 73 year old man that was sitting directly in front of us. We told him we were boarding a cruise on Saturday and come to find out, he was getting on the same cruise ship. Bob Smith is from Austin. His wife died about 8 years ago and he has been traveling ever since. He just got off of a cruise ship, re-positioning from Barcelona to Houston, the Jade just 2 weeks earlier. Watched Amazing Race.On Monday, I had my yearly check up with Dr Bristow. He gave me some medication for bladder infection. G'daddy took me to the airport and I was able to check 2 pieces of luggage. Geo: 40.135, -86.2206My plans to visit Ellen and Luke was that I didn't want to do anything except, be with David, Emily and little Lucy. I didn't want to go anywhere, see anybody or do anything. Just play and be with the g'kids. Ellen wanted me to make Mexican casserole and some apricot bars. I did bring up the Ranch Style beans to make the casserole, other than that, Ellen had all the ingredients. I went ahead and made a double batch of Mexican casserole and froze the 2nd dish for Ellen and Luke to pull out later. The weather was pretty nice in Indiana. Geo: 32.778, -96.7956Since I had this "FREE" trip to Uruguay and back, I decided this would be a good time to see Baby Lucy. In checking the rates, I booked and confirmed a ticket to Indianapolis and back to DFW via United Airlines. I knew I needed a few days of rest before I flew up to see I love Lucy. But first, I needed to get my hair cut. I had an appointment at my hair stylist at 12noon, but I changed it til 1:30pm, so I could get a quick nap in. Friday night was Halloween.
