2nd PLACE?!?!? I didn't know about this! WOOO HOOOO! Nice work Emily! Dang, she has got skills. Funny story about the shoe place. That's awesome it was so cheap. And SO COOL that you extended your lease! Live it up!
Thought of you and Randy on this day. The last blog post with the no name comment was from me, oops! So glad you finally have cable and internet. You're now better at blogging than I am! Ugh....I'm so behind!
Jesus and Obama?! No way! She must be misinformed :) ha ha Jake's Saloon! ha ha Well, everything except falling and the doctor sounds like tons of fun! It amazes me how much you get done every day there!
Rob Lowe I saw him on Oprah and he is gorgeous!!! Married to the same person for over 20 years and loves his two teenage sons. Can't wait to read his book!!! I want to know the winner of the cheesecake contest so we can try it on our next trip. I am so glad you are having such a good time; our house will be boring after this!!!!
Extending your stay Hey, Duck, as you know, have been inundated here in D.C. in April with my political work AND 2 weeks of jury duty. My obligations to the latter end this coming Friday, UNLESS I am impaneled, which means it could extend for Lord knows how long. Will know something by Friday evening, and talk to you then about my taking the train up for one evening before you leave.
groud zero take two Jeanne, I have been thinking so much about you all day. I also am a pacifist and did not "celebrate" bin Laden's death as much as felt a stirring of passsage, we are as a people moving on. There is so much fighting and righteousness in our world and so much suffering that is created as a result. I think this just reminds me to watch my own righteousness, least it lead to suffering in the world. I have commpassion for all in the world who have suffered in war and death. You are a wonderful person, Jeanne, I know you halped many with your caring ways. Just wanted to tell you I love you today. Gay.
groundzero I would have been like you, had to be there. Great opportunity could not have missed it. a great day for the united states, Pictures are great.
Happy 60th to Randy!!!!! Hi Jeanne, so touching what you wrote about Randy. WOW, it is still hard to believe he is gone, sometimes. I bet you do miss him. Especially at a time like this while on a long trip alone. I can't quite replace Randy (haha)but I will go to 3 movies a day with you, anytime!!!!!! And eat popcorn and cheesecake. Forever, G.
4/27 Spent the day in Madison, WI with a new client and started the morning meeting by writing the client's name, the people in meeting, and the date on the top of my notes. Then thought about you. And Randy. Didn't realize this would've been his 60th. Always got a kick out of reminding him he was 2 years older than me - for a couple months.
Keep the blogs coming. I love 'em!
Love, YAF
Love all of the pictures! I'm sorry to have missed that Easter Parade - what a hoot. Loved those hats. You're doing all of my favorite things - theater, movies, and food!
I thought of Randy today too. You two could have had a blast together in NYC although you may not have gotten into so many events as a couple.
Glad you're having such a great time and letting us all live vicariously!
Joisy Boiz We LOVED Jersey Boys!! Such simple staging that really allowed the music to be the focus. Are you planning to see Wicked? About opposite in terms of staging (VERY elaborate), but the most amazing show I've ever seen. I love it that you are loving NY!!!
You are wearing me out!!! I get tired just reading your posts! You sure are filling your day with cool stuff. I'm glad that the weather is improving for all you walking.
Love, love,
Michelle
lowell01@aol.com James Taylor concert!!!! that is so great.l I love him and the song...always thought that i'd see him again.
I started a reply that may not have sent confirming that it is easier to get good seats when single.
Keep the posts coming. I love them....amd you.
LOVING all the pictures! The churches are beautiful! Trailer park....hilarious. Dallas BBQ probably wasn't quite the same, huh? Keep enjoying your movies!!! how fun!
Livin The Dream And....boy, you are livin' it too. All the plays, Easter Parade, churches, food, etc. Sounds like heaven....I love movies too, so that part is great also. Keep it up & keep sending the pics & comments. Just way too cool. Here in Rogers, it's been raining until they had to open the dam gates some. Flooding everywhere. You got out just in time or you'd have to be participating in helping us build the arc.
