Tom went for the Irish breakfast..including blood sausage which he enjoyed. four kinds of meat with his breakfast, wow.Walked to the Rock of Cashel, which is the ruins of a cathedral and monastery. Good visit, great cemetery. Stopped at the bakery on the way out of town. Totally yummy and so cheap. chocolate chocolate chip muffin and mini loaf of bread for 1.20. Drove about 30 minutes to the Cahir Castle, which is a castle ruins on the river. they allowed you to climb all over the castle and walls. Great views and lots to see. Tiny scary narrow stares. Been organizing my clothes, doggies are looking worried, Been trying to talk Gary into getting set up on Skype so my doggies can see me while I am gone, but he doesn't seem very interested. downloaded a bunch of books and movies...what more do I need? I am ready. the Ashes are leaving Wednesday, so they will be a few days ahead of us. We plan to hook up with them in Dingle, if we all survive driving across country on the wrong side of the road while shifting gears with our left hand. should be an adventure.... read more

Already have 16,000 steps today.I posted pics of our amazing dinner last night that Tom missed out on,One of our best. also put up a couple of videos,Started early at Versailles this morning, Took the train and.we did very well, It is an amazing visit, We were there longer than I expected. we rented bikes to tour the grounds, which was fun, it was nice to be on a bike again, We biked all the way around th grand canal, then biked out to Marie Antionettes house which was pretty,Made it safely back to Paris, stopped at the wonderful bakery that is right next to our hotel, so convenient. Geo: 48.8566, 2.35097Dot, tuesday 6:30 pmTom left this morning. He snores! He barely fit in the little baby bed, but we may him stay there anyway. His feet hung over the end. He had a nosebleed in the middle of the night from all the dry air and wind. Last night at the Eiffel tower wAs amazing!Just got back from our day with the tour guide. Climbed up the arch de triumph and the views were amazing. Then walked down the Tour de France run along the Champs élysées. We went in all the famous original designer shops and I think Mary was thrilled. Lunch at a cafe, then Mary dumped us to try real shopping alone (she wanted to buy fancy underwear).
