trip to the west
Sounds good, but you should have popped into Coffins Bay, absolutely beautiful there. Glad you kept your eye out for that Shaun Mills lad but he was possibly too busy in the donga after Kangaroos!!!! Happy travels to you and your feral kids xxx

Your back again
We loved Tumby Bay as well. Did you see the quaint little octagonal building on the foreshore - it was fully muraled. We checked out the Croquet Greens as well. Thought you would approve. Glad lights are fully operational once again. How's the COLD temps? When do you intend to arrive in Perth. Which park are you heading for. The one close to Judith has a great rep. Lynley's friends or relies were managing it at one stage but have moved on now. It's a Discovery Park I think. Keep on keeping on. Rob & Barbara. Ps. Still loving the Oakleys blogs as well .

Dumpster diving
Interesting idea - do you need special equipment for this sport? I'm picturing camouflage wet suit, garbage grappling hook and roller blades for a fast get away ....

Dumpster Diving
I think you need to add a breathing apparatus, it is a rubbish dumpster after all.....

Port Pirie
Is that really my sister ? never thought I would hear you say you were enjoying a beach sojourn. Maybe there's hope for you yet... My scene. We found Port Pirie to be an interesting place when we visited it with you, but have never stopped in for a tourist stop as we were always on our way too and from WA. I also remember your praise of the Indian Food. The photos of the Caravan Park & view towards the Finders certainly show the amount of rain that has fallen in the area, the colour of the grass is living proof. Hope you were able to find a Cheap Store for your floor rug purchases. they are falling like flies around QLD. The one on Bribie has survived so far but has a name change, it is now Crazy Clarks. Eyre & Nullabor blogs greatly anticipated......when you have signal that is. Hope the windscreen repairs were sucessful. You should start seeing a carpet of wildflower ground covers peeping thru this trip while making the crossing, also the right time to spend a few hours with the whales that you wanted to re-visit. Miss Princess looks very pleased with herself in the warm sunshine, half her luck, we still haven't seen the sun, over a week now. cheers Rob & Barbara

Getting More & More Jealous
Gee we love receiving these Blogs. You are having a fantastic journey & its so nice being able to share it all with the rest of us. Did you enjoy Katherine shopping precinct? It was certainly was an eye opener for us. The Indiginous situation was really very sad to see. I'll make sure that John Sullivan knows that the reference to John in your blog was for he & Marg., not another John. Catch you later. Once again I have to remark on the quality of your photography. Rob loved the cruise along the Katherine Gorge including the trek to change boats. B & R

Hi, I think the plant in your blog is a bush tomato. When fruiting, one variety edible, the other isn't but they look similar. Fabulous sunrise at the truck stop! Hope you have/had a gooed cruise on lake Argyle. Have you been to the Kimberley Cafe in Kunnunurra? Apart from good coffee have interesting information on each table.

What a trip you are having
What great photos of the gorges and chasms. I'm green with envy but I don't think I could manage the trek over the rocks with my dicky knees but I would give it a go. Did you go into Warnum (Turkey Creek)? One of my school friends with whom we meet regularly at our reunions is a nun and has been up there in excess of 20 years. Tells great stories of the place, particularly the floods that wiped out the famed art centre a couple of years ago. Keep up the good blogs, fabulous to read!

Turkey Creek
The Community now known as Warmun is a closed community and you have to apply to go there. They are only open Monday - Friday and we were there on a Sunday, so no, we didn't get to the art gallery.
