No more Jayco Sterlings
The model was dropped for 2014. You need to look out for the new Silverline (full 'van) and Journey (poptop).

Great Time Enjoyed By All
Everything looks & sounded very elaborate & well worth the trip. I cant really speak for the wines (being Tea Total) but Rob was pouring over the names you mentioned. I gather he was not too familiar with them. What a choice of menu, YUM. Who ate GMans seafood? The travel writings are again very good reading. I hope when The Manhattan gets on the road again, finding camp sites as good as you two seem to find will be easy. Think we will get you to compile a list for us. I hope Dave looks into a van that is only as wide as yours & can feel comfortable towing it. There are pleanty out there + incorporated Bathroom & Toilets, a must for the night times. bye for now

Best Friend
I gather your GPS is no longer your best friend. I confess mine hasn't stuffed up yet but I haven't tried it out in outlying areas yet. That day is yet to come. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Disease is called Jealousy
So impressed with your organizational skills. Wish it was us, but we are at least talking & planning. I was thinking of Shirley today & thinking "wonder if she would mind me contacting her"? Interested in her thoughts on the back support she purchased to help her back while traveling. Saw them last Sunday at the Caravan Show. They seem fine on hard chair seats, but not sure about softer car seats. Have a great time. What's happening to Princess?

Princess
Princess has a personal servant who will attend her twice daily and even comes and sits with her for a couple of hours. Gets walks around the garden and lots of cuddles.

Got It
have just picked up your latest blog. Good one. I'll have a closer read at the airport tomorrow night. The last part of your trip sounded relaxing & peaceful. Date for departure already for 2014.......good one. Desert Sky off to see Rudi next week?? Best wishes to the happy couple over the road. Meicha's house looks lovely (sorry about spelling). Hello to Gman. Bon voyage to the boy's. Catch ya later

Vegetable peeler?
Hi Chris and Graham Thanks, we're so attached, we can't actually remember it but would like to catch up with you regardless....when you're better of course, don't want that bug. It sounds nasty, hope you're feeling much better soon. We'were actually only in the Clare caravan park for a few days and are now at the house-sit in Rostrevor until the 10th Oct when we will return to the Clare park (very pretty) and work out where Chris is mainly shoeing and then look at renting in that area. He's been getting more calls. Now he has to travel back up north! Thankyou also for acknowledging the house and garden. Didn't mind the house-work, really enjoyed the gardening (as I mentioned before, beautiful soil) and Chris did the whipper-snippering, planted vegies and made beer and green tomato chutney. Chris wonders if Graham enjoyed the Irish stout? And did you find the lemon marmalade, I sterilised those jars according to your instructions, so that's safe. The lime marmalade didn't kill us so that must have been ok. When and where are Sheryl and Shane tying the knot? I'd love to see your outfits. Otherwise photos would be good. Please send our regards.

photo
sorry so late with comment. Love the sisters photo. Very nice, one of our best, glad I wasn't there to spoil it. Your photos of the bush, flora & birds are really well detailed. I will read all the postings again when I get home, things are so frantic over here.

Soooo homesick
Gosh Chris, I haven't seen those flowers and localities for so long, it really gave me a pang!

More lovely photos and great to hear of better weather for your last week of travels, if you could drag some pleasant weather home with you that would be great, we are all over winter (except the rain which is most welcome) just a little warmth from the sun would be very welcome. Safe travels.

home coming
Glad you've finally had some good weather, cold and miserable here last few days, maybe a coupe of reasonable ones mid week and wet again for your return. Just to give you something to look forward to. Canola in bloom here too, it's looking beautiful, all that green and gold! I know you're early risers but can I ask you to give us till 10 or 11am (later doesn't matter) just so we can wash sheets and do breakfast dishes before you arrive. All else will be in order beforehand, except I might not have everything back in it's rightfulplace, thought I'd remember but I don't. Oh well if nothng else it'll give you somethig to do playing hide and seek (well, seek anyway) and rearranging things (after you've done the washing no doubt). The last month has just flown by, probably for us more than you. Hope you have a good trip home and continued good weather. See you soon.

photos
Coalmine and Sandy beaches look lovely and serene. Great photo of ship coming into Bunbury. That's true, hadn't thought about it but no snails, how is it so? Slugs though, but at least not both.

Pity the poor people who were on the walk with Alias. He likes to jump up & down, side to side (consider his waif like build). All was good until we turned a corner and saw a few ladies holding onto the railings with white knuckles.

A magical place.
It really is a magical place. Those trees are just spectacular. Your fabulous photos reminded me of my trip down there. Did you walk under the walkway? That tour was fun. There are lots of great forests and small towns to explore in the south west.

G'Day Mate
Well it's cold here and I am well and truly rugged up but have had a great afternoon travelling across my wonderful country and enjoying your stories and photos. I am a bit with Graham - bit wary of the tree top walks although I would love to do it. Take care. Carol

Wow that looks stunning, photos are great, that's my kinda sightseeing. Stay safe Lynley

Amazing
we've read about them but having never seen them they are well worth the trip. Grandma Tingle has my feet...bunions, corns & funny bumps. Again a special mention of the photography. Mr Grumpy looks rather relaxed with his book. Cheers. B & R

Lace and Dam or should that be dam(n) lace
I'm very impressed, have often looked at ladies doing it at craft shows and it's mind boggling! Wellington Dam looks beautiful but probably smaller than you remembered because you're not just a tad older but probably SO much taller :) I'm sitting in the dining room doing some revision (MYOB course blugh) and it's pouring and I'm wearing tracky pants, thick socks and ugg boots on the bottom half and bra, singlet, long sleeve T shirt, polar fleece and 'outdoor' coat/jacket, fingerless gloves and a beanie! But I am warm and NOT complaining! We have a fan heater but I can't stand the noise. Now I'm going into the lounge by the fire, Chris is cooking thankfully, he's better than I am. Fray's good and says 'wah', well, I'm sure she would if she wasn't curled up by the fire.

Fray and lace
Fray has obviously got you well in hand. I bet the fire was on already to keep her warm! Lace, I have always wanted to try and believe you it is far harder than I thought. I am struggling with lesson 2 and apparently when I get to lesson 7 I should be able to do most patterns. I figured it would be a nice compact craft to travel with. Hell no! Even the little book mark I did took 10 pair of bobbins and a huge pillow. The amount of work you have to do before you can even start, winding bobbins, marking up your pattern takes forever. I can see my travelling future being marking up patterns to do over the summer when not travelling. My sister in law does the most beautiful things and one she is working on at present uses 47 pairs of bobbins.
