Day 1 - 2½ in Bangkok Bangkok We arrived in Bangkok, flying with Air Asia, a low cost no frills (read: no food or drink either) airline. The tickets were €35.00 per person including all taxes. Soon as we exited the customs into the arrival lounge, we were greeted by the usual polite smiles, "you want taxi?" From experience, Zak knew that these rides would cost anywhere from 20 to €40.00. So we just stepped outside to the street right at the corner of the airport lounge, and asked for an air-con bus which cost €2.00 each, and which brought us directly to the infamous Khao Sarn Rd district.
