Well the adventure begins with a huge hangover...lol... I am writing this from Singapore Changi, after a fab flight from Sydney this morning. I must say I was hugely pleased after a huge night last night to get on the plane and find that I had been upgraded to business class. I had my doubts this morning when I was checking in that I was actually going to be flying today, funny thing was I went to check in and said Im going to Singapore and they said there is no flight to Singapore this morning. Well I was like, man I have been so looking forward to my trip what the hell has happened. Dep Melbourne 0050, Friday 7/7/06, 7 hrs 30 flight to Singapore. Landed at 0605 hrs to a cool 27 degrees C. Got to York Hotel just after 0700 hrs and had to wait around in foyer for 2 hours for our room. Very tired. Got room (great room), showered and we were ready to see the sights. Walked down to Orchard Rd, the main drag of Singa's and looked around. Masses of ppl and the smells take Bird and I back 30 years. Decided to go out to Sembawang/Woodlands, where we met and worked with New Zealand Force SEA in 1976 - 78. Caught the MRT (Mass Rapid Train) (wasn't in existance in our day). angekommen am flughafen in singapur!!!was nun?wohin?oh...kostenloses internet !wir scheissen drauf erst unser gepaeck zu holen,sondern checken zuerst mal unsere emails...gerade mal einen halben tag aus bochum,aber man haette in dieser zeit natuerlich schon einen schwall von emails bekommen koennen!!marit telefoniert gerade mit qantas ob wir evtl eher nach bali koennen.danach kuemmern wir uns um eine unterkunft.hatten ja schon ueberlegt,ob wir vielleicht mit den moenchen die hier am flughafen rumlaufen ins kloster gehen.naja,ein hostel in little india ist ja auch nicht zu verachten.die leute hier sind wirklich freundlich und ich glaube es wird eine ganz tolle und erlebnisreiche reise!! kuesse in den pott und ein hauch von biss in tanjas ellenbogen;) nine... read more

gestern noch mit allen bei tanja vorm fernseher gejubelt und party gemacht,...EIN HOCH AUF DEUTSCHLAND...ja,und heute ein schwerer,traenenreicher abschied am flughafen...danke euch allen fuer eure eintraege,koennte jedesmal wieder heulen wenn ich sie lese!...am meisten aber danke ich meinem herzenskind,ruhrpottperle nr. 3!!!tatjana maus ich liebe dich so sehr!!!hat schon seinen sinn und zweck,dass wir unser herz bei dir gelassen haben!!!tja,..nun sitzen wir im flieger von london nach singapur,frieren uns den arsch ab und versuchen 12std flug tot zu schlagen...nine hat bis jetzt wohl den besseren part und schlaeft einfach,waehrend ich langsam an der aircondition kaputt gehe und mich gleich freiwillig auf russische felder stuerze(leicht daneben ist auch vorbei...)schoenen gruss ans "oral gewerbe":)...hehe...ich bin so gespannt was die welt fuer uns bereit haelt,ich kanns kaum erwarten!!!nu... read more
