Always amazes me reading about the incredible travels of everyone...so who better to ask when I have travel question! I've got 3 days and 3 nights (returning from India) in Singapore from 22nd January 2009 and never been there and would love a hit list of what to do and of course, what not to do...? Would be interested in some market shopping, a couple of cool bars, somewhere to get a fabulous meal....Thanks so much. Belle

Hi BelleT,
I just noticed your call for info on singapore and I had to join so i could post and help you out...lol
3 days....well what I would recommend is don't plan to much as you will likely run out of time!!
I would however in my opinion make sure you see the following.....

1,Sentosa Island (make sure you go early get tickets to see song of the sea you can catch a cable car over from the jewel box(top of a the hill) or the harbourfront shopping center)

2,Singapore night safari (the zoo)

3,Shopping (up to you where...depends on where you are staying) if you are looking for reasonable priced food I would head for a smaller mall and try the bottom floor you may find a local food court (cheap as)

For markets it depends on what you are looking for chinatown is good in singapore Bugis Markets are good but hot and smokey(covered in)

enjoy singapore I so wish it was me....hope you have some money to go shopping ) Reply to this

I would definitely keep Jurong Bird Park and Night Safari in the list... it's fun to take some hop-on-hop-off day tour... Reply to this

You can hop on the Singapore Flyer for a fantastic view of the cityscape at night. And of course, no visit to Singapore will ever be complete without a picture with the famous Merlion at the Esplanade. For dining and clubbing, you can visit Clarke Quay which is filled with vibrant new clubs and bars to explore. But if clubbing isn't your thing, you can still take a river cruise. The Clarke Quay - Boat Quay area is beatiful at night.

In the night the most cool club is the Zouk, in riverside zone, or just go to Clark Quency, it's a zone with lots of clubs and pubs. Reply to this
