We have two adventure lovers, me Sangam Mishra & Rajan Bhardwaj decided to go Rishikesh by Bike (Hero Splander 100cc). Rajan has doubt that just 100cc bike can take two people to Rishikesh & Neelkanth Temple also many peoples told us that it is like suicide to travel 600km with two people on 100cc bike but we have decided to go. We started our journey by 2-Jan-2016 from Mohan Estate Delhi (My Office) at 1PM, previously we decided to start the journey early morning but due to some office work we were not started at morning. Geo: 30.071, 78.2582The movie… is being shot in India everyday. Okay so between us and the Germans what have we hit or what has hit us. Lets see..3 scooters, one pedestrian with the mirror to the back of the head, two small tipper trucks and one large truck with the mirror and sadly one dog did not make it. The good news is other than scratches on the mirrors no panel damage. Darren summed it up nicely. " There is only so much damage you can do in first gear".It is probably fair to say that we have tried everything from serious abuse to polite education suggestions recommending safer road use but with fairy limited success. I made it to Parmarth Niketan last night around 8pm. I made it just in time to get checked in and have dinner. I had to take my shoes off and leave them outside of reception, put on some communal flip flops to go to the restroom to wash my hands, and then got in line for dinner. Dinner (rice with yellow sauce, naan, and cooked squash/peppers) was taken in silence and eaten sitting on the floor. I did at least get a spoon to eat with :) After dinner, I was taken to my room across the ashram. It is on the quiet side of the ashram, right under the yoga hall. It's simple, but clean. Geo: 30.1287, 78.3207Ráno se opět potkáváme na snídani a po jídle pokračujeme další hodinou yogy. Učitel je evidentně potěšen, že mě opět vidí a že jsem to nevzdal a tak je dnešní hodina volnější. První hodinu trávíme teorií yogy a celou filosofií kolem. Je to moc zajímavé, protože v západním světě je yoga jen cvičení, ale její pravá podstata je mnohem více o spiritualismu než o cvičení. Geo: 30.1296, 78.323Ráno se probouzím spontáně před budíkem kolem 6:30 a už se mi moc nechce spát. Chvilku se převaluji a pak vstávám, balím věci a odcházím na nádraží chytit autobus do Rishikeshe. Mám štěstí, protože má odjíždět za pár minut a opravdu se tak děje. Nastupuji do plného busu a vyrážíme. Je to asi 20km, ale i tak cesta trvá cca hodinu. V autobuse se přes sms domlouvám na setkání s Yan, která mi dává rady jak se levně dostat do Tapovanu, kde je většina Yoga center. Poučen Yan vysedám z autobusu na místním nádraží a odolávám nabídkám rikshaw za 150Rp. a vydávám se k hlavní silnici, kde mi ... read more
