Hi Rimjhim,

I suggest to avoid the Sikkim on July or monsoon season, as Sikkim is one of the rainiest region of India. Your trip may be spoil because of rain as you cannot go out to see nature and low visibility on road.

I think you come to Maharashtra or Gujrat during monsoon as both state has relevant rainfalls.

Thanks,

The best time to visit Sikkim is in autumn between September to October. It is a beautiful land is well-known as the land of monasteries. It has large area bounded by lush green forests located on the Shivalik Hills. Gangtok is my personal favorite and some of the best tourist spot at Gangtok are Tsomgo Lake, Fambong La Wildlife Sanctuary and Hanuman Tok. Reply to this

Sikkim is basically a small state in Gangtok but it is really a very beautiful place as well as a tourist place. There are many places to visit like Rumtek Monatesry, Nathu La, Gurudongmar lake, Khecheoprali lake, Hanuman Tok, Phodong Monastery, Zemu Glacier, Ganesh Tok these are the most visited tourist place in sikkim as most of the tourist visit these places only.

For a pleasant tour you can also take some conducted tour package, in this tour package you can easily visit all the places and able to explore the things much more than you do normally. Reply to this

Its all your preference, yes it is monsoon in July in Sikkim, but I think it is also the time when you can explore the greenery of this beautiful state.

There are some beautiful places that you should include in your tour itinerary are:

Rumtek Monastery
Gurudongmar Lake
Yumesamdong (Zero Point)
Yumthang Valley
Hanuman Tok
Ranka Monastery
Tashi View Point

I would suggest you to beware from land slides and specially North Sikkim route. Reply to this
