So, we all made it one year! YAYYYYYYYYY! So, at Disney English, we are not allowed to celebrate religious holidays. But we CAN have fun celebrating other types of holidays around the year (usually by crazy dressing up!) Firstly there was Halloween! The craziness of being able to just dress up in anything but our blues may have made some of us go a little overboard, but at least we had a great time doing it! So let's start with our first picture together at ZSP!!!!!! We were all ill and very jet-lagged (probably all had China belly), but we all went to work with a smile on our faces, having a wonderful time! I remember poor Fergal walking in on all of us ladies singing along to all of the disney songs!!! We have had our ups and downs, but the Disney delights and BBBAM had a magnificent year together, we've stuck through thick and thin, and made amazing and awesome memories together!!!! Hallo allemaal! Allereerst wil ik even zeggen dat ik het superleuk vind dat jullie mijn blog lezen. Ik heb tot nu toe wel het een en ander gepost op Facebook (en daar hele lieve en leuke reacties op gehad), maar het leek me nu tijd om het een en ander ‘officieel’ te gaan vastleggen in een blog. This is a very back dated blog that will probably jump around alot and maybe repeat some stuff I've already said but its been a crazy week or so and I just haven't had the time. Anyway lets get start.... 1. Mae's Birthday in Shanghai So it was Mae's birthday on the 18th December and we hadn't really seen much of each other since the previous friday as we were sent to seperate centres to continue our training. Her's not that far away on the tube and mine 2 different lines and an epic walk from the station. However I'll get back to that. Shanghai Zoo So after a great day exploring People’s Park and The Bund the previous day and a lovely dinner with Phillip and Mae they were both up for another day of exploring and asked what I had planned next on my list. Since the weather is quite nice at the moment (well for me, bless them Phillip and Mae are not used to this weather) it just had to be Shanghai Zoo. A few stops on 2 metro lines away from the hotel. Anyone who knows me know that I love any excuse to go into teacher mode and this is basically what happened today as Phillip and Mae had never seen let alone heard of 90% of the animals that were present, so all my useless knowledge about Racoons being vermin in the US ... read more
