Looking north along the Yu Long River.The Karst topography in Guilin is one of the largest in the world and thanks to the receding water from hundreds of millions of years ago, the bared hills made from limestone and dolomite rocks.

This is the stone arch bridge near Gu Cheng. Its pretty hard to find, as it is down a narrow gravel road used by farmers, mountain bikers and hikers.

Although this stone bridge is hard to find, it is well worth the search. It is between Huang Tu and Gu Cheng. It is close to the Yu Long River down stream from the Bay Sha Reservoir.

West Street - Yangshuo night market and walking street. Some web sites say the restaurants were to expensive, I found most were priced just right. One has to remember this is a tourist destination.

Yangshuo Railway Station Guilin (阳朔站, or 阳朔火车站) is located in Fanzengshan Village, Xingping Town, Yangshuo County, The large size of the station looks like it was planned to be very busy in the years ahead.

I hope that you are doing very well in Guangzhou and you have fully acclimated. Enjoy yourself there. Extremely hot in Lewis County this summer and very humid. We have had a "drought" and tornado this summer. The corn still grows. Take care. Derek
