Stiham 7.45. cul ideme 3ludia. Sikmacka nevi odkal jej to leti, malaysia airlines, tak jej vravim z klia 1. Prvy krat robim v kl ostry check in. Fasujem dve letenky, na oboch cislo 19d. Pracovnik chcel este vidiet odletovu letenku z berlina. Tak mu hovorim eu, ze netreba. Za securiti zacinam plnit novy mobil appkami. Let plny, dost cudzincov. Lietadle nam rozdali arrival karticky. Hey, sorry its been a while since I've done an update. Been on the job hunt since arriving in Australia. Anyway thought I'd add an entry and loads of pictures from our stay over in Singapore. Had 4 days there as a layover so we didn't have to do over 20 hours on the plane in one hit with the kids. We stayed at hotel boss which was fairly central. Did a little bit of exploring of the city as a day a Singapore zoo. The zoo is probably the best one I've ever been too and you definitely need the full day as its huge. So huge in fact I had to hire a cart to pull the kids around in all day. Anyway I hope this finds everyone well and i'll add another entry ... read more

George is still having problems walking long distances with his sciatica, so we decided we would do the Skypark at Marina Bay Sands. This was something that we had wanted to do in our last visit, but we ran out of time. We took the metro from our hotel and it stopped directly under the hotel. It was then just a short walk to the lift for the Skypark. The Skypark at Marina Bay Sands is an open air observation deck on level 57 of the hotel. It gives spectacular views of most of Singapore. With the current heat and humidity it is impossible to stay up there for too long as there are no shaded areas. It was great to have done it at last though. We think about 35 - 38 degrees. George is struggling with sciatica pains in his leg this morning, so we have to try to minimise the walking. We decided that a couple of days on the Big Bus would be just the tonic to sort it. It would also get us around a lot of Singapore. The hotel offers free buffet breakfast every morning, so at about 8.30am we wandered down. We were horrified by the scene that met us. The room was full to overflowing with people. We did find two seats. Theresa went to get coffees, and whilst she was gone someone came and took her seat. We got up this morning to find that it was raining again. We had planned some final sunbathing, but not in this weather. At 10.30am, the captain and his two top officers held a presentation meeting in the theatre. This was a very interesting insight into the building of the ship, the future of it and normal operational processes. This concluded with a guest question and answer session. After that, as it was still raining this was an ideal time to do the packing ready for our exit from the ship tomorrow. All larger bags need to be outside of the cabin by 10.00pm this evening for collection by the cabin steward for assisted offloading.
