Hi,
I just published a blog (# 1028410) and I didn't receive any usual response over the email. Not even sure if it did send any automatic emails to my subscriber. System glitch? Would you please take a look and respond.
Much appreciated!
Regards,
Tab Gangopadhyay

Hi Tab.
This has been a known problem for more than a month - see the topic in the TravelBlog Support forum 'No notifications sent after publishing blog'. You may also wish to read 'published public; subscribers didn't receive email notice' in The Blog Forum.

Yeah, i read your post and realized the problem. For the last blog i sent my blog to the subscribers individually, as many don't feel comfortable to share emails with other subscribers. And it was not fun sending emails close to 100 subscribers. Would you know if it is fixed now. I am planning to post a new blog, but i am skeptical sending 100 emails again.
Thanks Mike,
Tab

Tab, I think we’re still waiting for the good news of the email notification system being fixed. Meantime, I don’t know what email application you use, but most allow you to set up a distribution list that doesn’t display everyone’s names and addresses. Google it!
Reply to this I have had the same problem and did not realise that my subscribers had not received my last two blogs. I have now set up my own distribution list. If you have Apple mail just add your subscribers email addresses to the BCC field rather that the TO field - you can put yourself in that field so that you receive a copy to. Your subscribers will then only see themselves and not any of the others. Hope this helps and hope that the site is fixed soon.
In response to: Msg #206291 Reply to this In response to: Msg #206292 That is a great advise! Although I tried to set up a trial one in gmail and added three addresses of mine, all in bcc. When I receive the email, I checked the addresses under the notification and it shows all the addresses under bcc. I must be missing something. Any tips would be welcome. thanks!

Tab, I'm not a gmail user but I think it's a case of setting up a 'group' then, when sending your email to everyone, entering your name in the 'To' field and the group's name in 'BCC'. Hopefully, TravelBlog's automatic system will be fixed sometime but, when it is, you'll have the list in case it ever happens again. 😊
Reply to this I'm having the same problem, at least I have company!
Reply to this Good news, this issue has been fixed. Happy blogging.
