Wow 13 years old, You were the mechanism that we needed to keep our friends and family aware that we were still alive and had not been eaten by a crocodile or bitten by a snake, when we circumnavigated Australia and along the way we also documented our travel.
We were hoping that as a reciprocal arrangement our friends sand families would leave messages on the TB site to tell us what was happening in their lives but that never really happened and the travel blog site let us do it thank you.

Reply to this I was sitting at work, bored off my brain. I did a Google search for travel websites and found this one. Loved what I found and never walked away.
I have looked at other travelblog sites but none of them are as good as TB.

I couldn't be prouder of what that little green website has become and the community of fantastic people that has formed around it. It's brought me highs and a few lows, but most importantly many many friends all over the world.
I'm now looking forward to celebrating all the decade anniversaries that are coming up 😊

Damn, we are all getting older...and I don't even find the time lately to room the forums!
Life is good with TB! At least there is strictly no more need to write our memories...
or even to think about writing a book...because writing or travelling, you have to choose....I travel!

Reply to this Like a few other TB'ers i searched online to find a decent blog to post my travels to so my friends and family back home can know that i am still alive and kicking. I found this one i joined one of the better decisions i made when it comes to joining a blogging community. I hope many more years for TB.
