Where to go in 2.5 days?

Hi all,

I need help to plan a last minute vacation in Indonesia.. We will be in Bali from April 27th till May 1st. Where can we go next from there? I definitely want to see Yogyakata and maybe Flores? But we only have May 1st - May 3rd to see other places as our international flight leaves at midnight on May 3rd from Jakarta. What\'s the best way to see some other places in 2.5 days?

That is a tough one I would just stay on Bali myself for the extra days there are so many different areas there from Nusa Dua to Ulawato to Ubud I have spent over 7 months in Bali and still haven't seen it all.

You can fly to Lubaugn Bajo and then fly direct back to Jakarta should be a touch over $100 USD from there a little bit of Komodo Flores and Rinca could be done on a rush job. Pelita I believe is one of the cheap flights that can do that itienerary.

Best bet is to book flights inside Indonesia at the Kuda Airport DPS Denpesar . The reason why is all of the airlines are there and you can shop around all the air line tickets in ten minutes. Will save you a lot of time and you will get the best price as sometimes if the flight is leaving real soon and they will offer deep discounts to get people on the flights last minute.

Thanks for the response Chuck! It is kinda hard to schedule all these flights and I'm sure it will be easier to book all these in Indonesia. Makes me wish I owned a plane! :D Reply to this

If you are in Bali, one place that goes into my mind to be visited next is Lombok . You could go island hopping to the 3 gilis island as well as climb Mount Rinjani. 😊 Reply to this

Lombok is a good choice as well on the East side of Bali you can catch the ferry in Candi Dasa and then get a local mini bus up to the Gilis. You can book a bus from Sanur Kuta Ubud that will get you over there. that would be the cheap travel way got some bucks do the powercats a lot faster and an ocean adventure to boot. Reply to this

Thanks for the input Yanyan and Chuck! We actually decided to stay an additional day in Bali and then just spend a night in Yogya... 😊 I guess we will just have to come back to Indonesia and see the rest of the country.. 😉 Reply to this
