I overstayed in Thailand by a day on two separate occasions and then realized they put in some sort of fine stamp when stamping me out, saying the amount and stuff right in the passport (mind you this was all in Thai). Could this affect other countries not admitting me or refusing visas because they might fear I'll overstay, especially a place like China for example? Reply to this

Hello Danny 😊

If it is in Thai, they probably wont even know what it is. But, I dont see any reason it will cause problems with China. I dont think Thailand is on their list of grievances, so they wont pay any attention to your Thai stamps at all.

Danny, the answer is simple, don't worry at all. Even if you are back in Thailand. On top of it, as a general rule, nobody care if you overstay by 24 hours.

Peter
