We are travelling to:
Malaysia (Peninsula and Borneo)
Thailand
Cambodia
Vietnam
Laos
Indonesia
South West China
Do we need to take Malarone anti malaria tablets? Am weighing up the pros and cons, obviously we dont want to get Malaria but how common is it in the above countries?

Check the WHO(World Health Organisation) website. It gives information about the Malaria risk in every country. Also, double check with a couple of travel clinics. They sometimes differ in opinion about whether Malaria prevention medication is worth taking in the various destinations. I have never taken it in Thailand.
