I was researching some more and was looking into the Philippines. Has anyone been there during June or August? How is the rainy season there, is it similar to Thailand? Also which would you suggest would be better, cheaper, etc? Reply to this

The Philippines is very similar to Thailand with one little exception, in the north they have these big circular things called typhoons which is one of the more awesome types of displays that mother natures likes to throw at us.

I was there last year for the end of the rainy season and the thing is the prices are less and there is less people around so you still have a good time! Try dancing in the rain!

the weather is a little bit unpredictable over here but for sure, we get lots of sunshine 😊
last year we experienced the worst storms around september but i was still able to go to the beaches in between those nasty storms.
Philippines is one of the cheapest destinations in asia(considering you won't get ripped off too much) although i can't compare it to thailand 'cause i haven't been to thailand yet 😞
you just need to know what you want to see/experience ... there's alot to see...beaches, ziplines, white water rafting, surfing, diving sites ... etc ...
... June or August would be fine ... Reply to this

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a rough budget? I was thinking of heading to the Philippines in July or August for about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. What is a decent budget? If anyone can provide any advice. What they paid, etc.. THANKS! Reply to this
