The next day we woke, checked out of our hotel and we wandering (with our bags), we walked over the Harbour Bridge, had breakfast at a cafe on the other side, Had a look at Lunar Park from the outside, didn't have time to go in and then caught the train to the airport. Arrived on Saturday evening in Sydney we went for a walk to Darling Harbour and had supper. Sunday was a busy day, first we did the Bridge climb which included climbing to the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge. It was a nice experience and we had great views over Sydney and the harbour. Unfortunately you are not allowed to bring your camera so we don’t have any photos. Anyway after the climb we went out to Kirawee where Per’s mum’s cousin live and we had a lovely dinner. It was so nice to meet the whole family and George (Per’s granddads brother). Nino and Glen – thank you for a great dinner. I hadn't got a wink of sleep last night and was still very much wide awake when we landed in Sydney at 5.15am. We had filled out our arrivals cards on board the plane last night ready to enter the country. It asked the usual questions: name, purpose of visit, date of birth, inside leg measurement - but it also asked a series of questions about things you were bringing into the country. I knew that Australia was very hot on making sure that nothing entered the country that may upset the ecosystem or that may be taxable. I decided that honesty was the best policy and declared everything fully right down to the antihistamine I was carrying so as to avoid any problems.
