The trouble with packing isn't what to pack and what to leave behind. Its not forgetting your toothbrush or some other important item. Neither is it not being able to take what you want, such as your favorite jacket or your boyfriend. For me particularly as a first time traveler the trouble with packing is that you are forced to face the coming reality. The fears, doubts and insecurities in traveling across the world and being lonely hit you head on as you place your possessions in your rucksack. And its scary. And its exhilarating. And its very nerve racking. But as my good friend says, "be nervous excited, not nervous scared." The best things comes from these emotions.
