It's all gone! I was on the phone with Mahesh from customer service for two hours but there's nothing that can be done. It's all gone! All of my college papers, all of my music, every cartoon that I drew at Tulane --- it's all been permanently deleted. Continuing to live life on the brink of an aneurysm can be stressful. Before my computer eliminated my college history and before I realized that I had no flight itinerary my week back in Greensboro was already pretty intense. But I had a breather this summer, a little time to slow down and relax. I didn't have time to study for the GRE, let alone take it, but I did have time to fall back in love with New Orleans. I was morbidly depressed to leave and ... read more

Well its a few days late but last weekend my brother, Keith and I made a short trip to Fort Desoto, down in south St. Pete. It was a good trip, hot and humid but good other than sleeping in the heat. The park is really cool, campsites right on the water and the beach is less than a mile down the road. Lots of trails for running, biking and skating etc.... but overall my favorite park is the lack of development in the park lots of nature areas and wildlife around I recomemned anyone to visit, Ill post a few pics aif I can figure it out, Also only about 5 days until I leave for Japan.... Also I know these photos are awesome and yes I will do your wedding... read more

D and I are here in Miami melting away. We got here yesterday morning after a brief flight and fell asleep in the hotel. Our hotel is a nice - we're in the art deco district of south beach. In fact, they filmed parts of Miami Vice in our hotel! Oh..and before I forget, guess who we saw at the airport yesterday? The Black Eyed Peas!! Our celebrity moment. And I was pretty damn excited - we both love the BEP. Yesterday was a relaxing day - we walked around a bit, went to the beach, took some naps and had dinner at a cafe on ocean drive. Today we rode this great electric bus around south beach and did some shopping for last minute items for costa rica. Now we're off to find some shrimp ... read more

Fourth of July weekend is a good time to visit the Florida Panhandle, of course if there is no hurricane watch on the way. Luckily we managed to do it without getting any troubles. Starting from Atlanta at 10.15am with a Cobb County rental car, we drove through a busy traffic of Atlanta in the hot humid Georgian weather. There are two things I enjoy the most riding this rental car. First, air conditioning is running and kicking, unlike Ryan's red 97 Grand Am we were accustom to driving around Atlanta. Second, my iPod transmitter turns out to be a perfect tool to listen to good songs driving south at I-75 to Tallahassee, the capital of Florida. I was slightly disappointed when we had to drive through the Georgia/Florida border without stopping or taking pictures at ... read more

So here I am, getting ready to leave my life behind for a month and a half as I venture into the unknown. Well for me, anyway.... people have been there before I'm pretty sure. Madrid, Espana will be my destination for more than a month, and I'm both excited and nervous at the same time. I'm not really sure what to expect at all; I've been wanting to do this for so long that I'm not even sure why it was I wanted to go in the first place. I'm hoping for something enlightening; for a greater directive to somehow become clear to me from which I can propell myself forward. I've ran the gamut of emotions in my current state. Scenarios have played out in my head a million times, and now the only ... read more

This is the first entry of my travel journal. Depending on our internet situation out west, I have no idea when I'll be able to update this sucker but hopefully it will be a lot. Just wanted to post this first one so I can learn what I'm doing really, so I guess that's it. The camper is packed and all ready to go. So yep, talk to you later! ... read more
