hey everybody its sooo warm now, its 6 degrees and feels like 20!?!?! me and sonya had booked to go dogsledding today but it got cancelled coz it rained last night and the road we were spose to go up got closed! so instead we just went hiking with nikki a girl from our work! we went to douglas fir resort after work this week. its a hotel in Banff with an indoor water park and two massive fun slipery-slides! were heading out for tea and then a movies seeings tho dog sledding got cancelled!! ummm not much more going on, less then two weeks to go before were jet-setting the globe love always J-L and Gaz xx... read more

Hey everyone. I've got to first off say that I wish I could call a lot more and talk but with only being able to use payphones makes it hard. hey everybody we havnt done very much the last week or so, jus trying to save up for next week coz were off to west edmonton mall, the largest mall in the world!?!?! It has a theme park and a waterworld park a wave pool, you can swim with sea-lions or go into there shooting range!?!? Its got heaps more stuff and the hotel were staying at is inside the mall, its called fantasyland aND WE ARE STAYING IN A THEMED POLYNESIAN ROOM!!!! were soooo excited! We will definately have lots of new pics to put up at the end of next week! Hey its Gaz. We all went night skiing last night. It was crazy cause it was pitch black everywhere apart from a couple of lite up slopes. Im getting really good. It was J-L's first time and she did really well for her first time but at the end she started saying she would much rather ride a quad or motorbike so that might be the last time for her. We forgot to bring our camera. We are going to watch an ice hockey game tomorrow, Canmore have a team that feed to Calgary Flames. Hope everyone is good keep the messeges and updates coming. hey hey, how is all the fires going over there? r they starting to get better? Its plastered all over our news and papers! Hope ur nowhere near it Rosier! I was on the news last nyt and this morning but i missed it! hehehe a lady from global news came into work and interviewed me yesterday about all the fires back home because they wanted to get australians perspectives who are living locally! so that was funny! Gaz and Sonya had a wicked time snow boarding and skiing the other day. Hey everyone is Gaz here. Firstly the pics here are from earlier in the week mainly when I took J-L to Banff. Now for the update. I went for the interview on Sunday and I had the job in 5 minutes, and started last Tuesday. I have worked 5 days straight and now have a day off. Our moto is MAKE PIZZA NOT WAR... a bit gay but its full on work all the time but with music cranking. Like I makde all the dough, and do all the prep for their pizza and subs then I'll get a call to deliver something which is when I get in the Chev car (yes Gary dad I too drive a chev!!!!). But its not a cool chev. But I'll go deliver and then back to the shop. ... read more

hey everyone, thanks for all ur comments, good to see ppl are looking at this site. Gaz has been working 3 days now as a delivery driver which is hilarious coz its the first time he has ever drove on this side of the road, but APARENTLY he is doing a kick-ass job at it and he is great...... so he says! Our house is going heaps well, its perfect for us, just wat we need. Me and sonya are already guns at our job and its great because there is no stress or anything. We have been working 5 days a wk at the mo! Gaz is spose to work 4 on average! Looks like we will finally be able to hit the slopes this week now that we are all settled in and stuff. ... read more

Hey everyone Gaz got a job in Banff at a pizza shop during the day which means he needs to catch the stupid greyhound back into banff everyday! He starts tomorrow but is gonna keep lookin for a job in canmore so its easier for him! temperature is warming up here its about minus 5 and gets to around 2 degrees which feels soooo warm! Congrats ally for the traineeship....goodwork and have fun! Me and sonya hav been workin at the coffee shop everyday this week, it goes soooo slow but its easy as and all in all pretty good! Its mine and Gazs 1 yr today so we are in Banff going on a sleigh ride then the gondala then hot springs again so well put pics up laters luv always us xx... read more

hey all today is only about 3 degrees so its like summer =) Me and sonya start work today! went to lake louise yesterday and it took us an hour to get there but wee had to wait 2hrs for the stupid greyhound bus and then once we finally got there it was all frozen over and the town consisted of about 4 shops, then we had to wait another hour and a half for the stupid late greyhound bus again! All in all was a crap day and waste of money. Yeah it was really over rated and not how I imagined the place to be... espech after all the postcards and stuff makes it look great.... felt ripped off.
