Ale kto by wymyslil mi taka prace - filcownik? Potem plan ten rozrosl sie znacznie i powstal projekt pt. Felt from the heart. Alana postanowila objechc ze swoja jurta swiat, aby dzieci z kazdego odwiedzonego kraju mogly stworzyc na wspolnie sfilcowanym kocu obraz symbolizujacy ich ojczyzne. I tak jurta ... read more

well this weekend was really fun!we ended up winning one game and losing one game. so the first game was against a team called byasen 2 they were quick and i think they had 3 of their players playing up on their first team in the top division. we lost the game 28-26, but at least a dozen or close to half of their goals were on fast breaks. in the first half we made too many offensive turnovers which turned into fast breaks. plus we didnt really run back as much as we could have. in the second game we played against malvik. We won this game 29-27. in the first half again it seemed to be their fast breaks that hurt us but we finally caught on and stopped them in the second half. ... read more

So tonight kim and Tord were nice enough to invite us over for a little movie night. We began the night by stopping at various stores on a hunt for some norwegian candy! Tord was in charge of picking the movie and to all our surprise he picked Sex and the City! A two and half hour chick flick! After some laughs about other peoples drama, and a great chuckle about Mirandas pop fountain (her coke zero exploded upon opening) we busted out the guitar hero! Jenn and kim were a good match up while Tord kicked Mirandas butt everytime. With our bellies full of some much needed junk food, we headed back to Jenn's place for the night. Tomorrow we are looking forward to our road trip to Trondheim for some games/cheerleading! We leave at ... read more

Hello! It's been a little too long since my last entry, but it's pretty easy to get caught up in day to day things and all of a sudden you realize that your semester is half over! A lot has been going on here in good ol' Norway, but the most exciting part was that I went to Bergen! For those of you unfamiliar with Norwegian geography, Bergen is on the west coast amongst some beautiful fjords. Locals take pride in how much rain they receive (something like 250 days out of the year). Luckily for our weekend trip, my friends Margit and Sara, and I had beautiful weather. We took the overnight train to Bergen which was really comfortable, and actually a great way to make the 6.5 hour trip go by quickly. After arriving ... read more

It is just simply amazing in Norway! I had it soo good when travelling around this country and I got very lucky with the weather from what I hear which of course makes it a lot better. After a couple of relaxing days in Oslo I started heading more North to a city called Trondheim about 1/4 of the way up in Norway, not a great deal to do in this city so spend the day with my French host walking around the place (he just arrived there as well) exploring. Not a very big place at all this city and since I only had one night there i didn't get to get out of the city into the country which I was really looking forward to. Just the bus and train trips between the places ... read more

Hey Hey ! Tonight is our last night in Norway - get the plane to Paris in the morning HOW EXCITING! It hs been so much fun and the best was getting to know Johns family. I did have a little accident though :( I fell down the stairs outside and landed on my broken foot (most of you would know how my left foot is really bad from when i broke it) its bruised fairly badly and for 2 days have pretty much had John by my side or crutches, i was very disappointed when I fell. But Janelle I AM OK! In between tears I was looking at John and his Dad saying Janelle is going to kill me - they couldnt work out if I was crying or laughing i was in that ... read more

Well another game in the basket. this one ended in a tie and it went down to the very last little bit..the team we played(they were called fla/lundamo) today again played a 6-0 defense. it seemed in the first half we were making alot of offensive mistakes which created alot of turnovers. the team we played today had pretty good fastbreaks too..in the second half it seemed to be goal for goal for a while and close to the end it was tied 21-21 for what seemed like forever..we made some key defensive stops at the end of the game and were able to tie it up 23-23, with 15 seconds left our gameplan was to give it to the tall center back for a 9 meter shot...they stepped out on her and the buzzer went ... read more
