Cycling through norway...

I'm looking for advice on planning a cycle trip through norway and sweden

Hi,
Has anyone every done cycling in Norway and/or Sweden?

I'm currently planning to go cycling for maybe 2 months through Scandinavia. Basically my idea is to catch a ferry from the UK in early May across to Stavanger and start cycling north as far as Tromso. I'm not trying to break any records, and would like to see as much on the way as is possible. Does anyone have any idea how long this might take? I'm looking at 3 weeks... but really I've no idea about the terrain (except of course that there are lots of mountains in Norway), good routes, ferries, weather, traffic, etc...

I'm then thinking about heading over to Sweden and cycling back south. Has anyone done this? Is there much to see? Am I going to get stuck in snow even towards the end of May? Incidently I heard there is good boarding in a place called Riksgransen. Does anyone know when the season is? And if it's possible to just turn up there find a place to stay and hire a board and gear for a few days?

Thanks in advance,

Hi!
I don't know much about cycling myself but I think you migth fing this page helpful. It's about some guys that cycled from Lindesnes to Nordkapp and the page is in english http://www.eftel.com.au/~wheelbuddies/norway/norway2007/index.htm
If you're doing this trip be sure to include the archipelago Lofoten wich is very beautiful. There shouldn't be any problems with snow on the roads in May in Norway. The roads you are travelling on is by the coast and is warmer than the inner part of the country. Look at this link http://www.senorge.no/mapPage.aspx I don't know anything about Sweden.
